Okay, so if you haven't seen the commercial for K-Y Yours + Mine lubricant, this is how it plays out...
A modest looking couple are sitting in bed talking about K-Y Yours + Mine lubrication. They say that his feels like this, hers feels like this.... but when they come together...then it cuts off and you see a black and white clip of a couple dancing. When the commercial cuts back to the couple they are shown smiling under the covers of their bed and looking a lot less modest.
So this commercial had me and apparently a lot of people in my area (it was sold out the first couple weeks at 3 different stores I went to) wondering what happens when they come together. Enough so to pay $19.99 for it.
This is how it works... you get two vials. One is a blueish color (his) and one is a pinkish purple (hers). I suggest taking the lids off and removing the paper covers before you use them because squeezing and shaking them like crazy wondering why nothing is coming out kind of ruins the mood.... trust me on this!! I'm sure you can figure out what to do with it once you know who's is who's and you get it open (if not, you don't need this product because you're too young).
Honestly it wasn't really anything to write home about. I felt a slight tingle with the "hers" formula. My husband said it kept feeling like the "his" formula was about to get warm... but never really achieved more than a few degrees over room temperature feeling. From what I gathered from reviews on other sites, when they combine all you feel is a mix of the warm (his) and cool (hers) sensations (well duh)... but I never felt anything more than the cool and he never felt anything more than the slight warm. All in all I would say the extra lubrication felt good, and the slight tingle was nice... but both of those sensations could have been achieved with much cheaper products. My husband doesn't even want to use it anymore.
My Viewpoint - K-Y came up with a clever marketing campaign. This stuff sold like hotcakes at first, due to pure curiosity the marketing created. I don't think anyone that fell for it will be going back to buy another package after their is gone... and I don't suggest anyone else fall for the mystery.
