K-Y Yours + Mine Couples Lubricant —

Okay, so if you haven't seen the commercial for K-Y Yours + Mine lubricant, this is how it plays out...

A modest looking couple are sitting in bed talking about K-Y Yours + Mine lubrication. They say that his feels like this, hers feels like this.... but when they come together...then it cuts off and you see a black and white clip of a couple dancing. When the commercial cuts back to the couple they are shown smiling under the covers of their bed and looking a lot less modest.

So this commercial had me and apparently a lot of people in my area (it was sold out the first couple weeks at 3 different stores I went to) wondering what happens when they come together. Enough so to pay $19.99 for it.

This is how it works... you get two vials. One is a blueish color (his) and one is a pinkish purple (hers). I suggest taking the lids off and removing the paper covers before you use them because squeezing and shaking them like crazy wondering why nothing is coming out kind of ruins the mood.... trust me on this!! I'm sure you can figure out what to do with it once you know who's is who's and you get it open (if not, you don't need this product because you're too young).

Honestly it wasn't really anything to write home about. I felt a slight tingle with the "hers" formula. My husband said it kept feeling like the "his" formula was about to get warm... but never really achieved more than a few degrees over room temperature feeling. From what I gathered from reviews on other sites, when they combine all you feel is a mix of the warm (his) and cool (hers) sensations (well duh)... but I never felt anything more than the cool and he never felt anything more than the slight warm. All in all I would say the extra lubrication felt good, and the slight tingle was nice... but both of those sensations could have been achieved with much cheaper products. My husband doesn't even want to use it anymore.

My Viewpoint - K-Y came up with a clever marketing campaign. This stuff sold like hotcakes at first, due to pure curiosity the marketing created. I don't think anyone that fell for it will be going back to buy another package after their is gone... and I don't suggest anyone else fall for the mystery.

the hers lube was tingly but cold. a cold vagina does not feel pleasurable for the girl or guy. my boyfriend and i bit our tongues for a while before finally we both agreed that my chilly vag dampered the enjoyment. i would strongly suggest NOT to buy this product! he lost his erection and i couldnt wait to take a shower to get it off of me 5 minutes into sex. when i did wash it off, i could literally feel the coldness on my fingers. the girl lube tube is like freeon. terrible product.

Oh my gosh, I thought it was totally amazing-like nothing I've ever felt before. I loved it. He loved it. We'll never use anything else. Oh my gosh!

A lot to do about nothing, it seems. Thanks for the review.

You know, wierd things happen to those Pro's. They seem to only accept a certain amount of letters and sometimes certain things come up with numbers or something. Well, gonna sign off for now for sure! Catch ya later!

Yeah... they cut off my Pro... but I put as a pro that it makes a good reason to go to the bedroom... as good as a snow storm or power outage. There's going to be a great babyboom in April 2009 (about 9 months after this product came out) just you wait and see ;)

$19.99!!! yeah ok... So not going to even try. Great, tactful review.

Gosh...that's a bit pricey for a ho-hum experience. Thanks for the warning. :)

I guess we can add K-Y to the list of 100 calorie cupcakes, Columbus getting to the wrong place and life's other disappointments! (Haha!) Maybe it was supposed to be psychological that all the commercial build-up and stuff would be the thing that got people excited. But anyway, I enjoyed this review!

$19.99 for a slight tingle for you and a tiny increment in skin temperature for hubby? Argh. What a waste of good money. Good review, Roxann.
