As a dog lover I wanted a daycare/boarding facility that treated my pets with love, just as I would if I were home with them. As a time strapped mom-to-be and professional, I really needed a facility that I could trust and offered a full service approach to dog boarding. K-9 University meets all of my needs.

K-9 University offers pick-up and drop-off services (you can even give them keys to your place), dog grooming, boarding and obedience training (in a group setting or on an individual basis). They even offer agility training for those over-achieving pups! And with over 18,000 sq-ft, there is plenty of room for all is activity. On top of all this, the staff is terrific. They are true dog lovers.

The only drawback to all this convenience is the price. I don't think K-9 University is much, if any, more than other full service boarding facilities, but the costs can add up....especially if you take full advantage of all they have to offer.

In the end, the real test of a facility is the health and happiness of the dogs and mine seem to have a dog gone good time whenever they go to K-9 University!

I recently picked up a dog that was boarded there and at that time was told to feed it Fromm dog food, their promoted brand, and that the dog was fed 5 times a day!!! Not only that, I was also told the dogs were left out in the play area for 5 (FIVE) hours a day, resulting in weight loss and serious diarrhea. Later, I learned this was a common occurence with other dogs. A dog gone good time for who, Francine??? You are right, the real test of a facility IS the health and happiness of the dogs and this is not healthy for any dog.
