We absolutely love our Aquababy, and it is really a terrific alternative to the traditional sling-style baby baths, either for a baby who's getting too big for that style or just for a change of pace. We started with the Fisher Price Ocean Wonders tub, and although my son really loves it, we were anxious to try out the Aquababy when we received it as a Christmas gift from my mother. At 4-5 months, when my son first started being able to sit with support, he was especially excited to have the support that the Aquababy provides, along with that independent feeling of being able to sit up by himself. He also loves touching the little knobs on the front of it. Perfect for keeping a curious baby busy in the tubby! The only downside for me is that we have a textured bathtub, so the suction cups don't really work; I have to hold it in place.

I bought this for my son when he was getting too big for the baby tub, but too little to sit in the tub on his own. He was sitting on his own, so I thought this would have been perfect for us. Right away, I knew we were going to have a problem. When I put my son into this bath ring, he slid every which way. I was spending so much time trying to hold him still I couldn't even wash him. It was not a help at all! It was a much bigger problem, actually. I did try it a few more times, and together we got the hang of it. It still wasn't perfect by any means, but I could give him a quick wash and move on. Then I realized that with the way the bath ring was holding him, I was having a hard time cleaning his lower end....the part that gets the dirtist, if you know what I mean! I had it with this bather. It wasn't right for us. I returned it to the store, and let them know how awful it really was. They took it back and we got our money back! I did not purchase another bather of this style at all. It wasn't worth it for me!

I got this for my 3rd child.  Normally, I would have just continued to use the infant bath seat and stick it in the tub with the other kids but let's be real...no tub is big enough for two kids AND a big old baby bath tub!  This is perfect.  Now that he's sitting (just about 6m old) its ideal. You plop it in the tub and it has suction cups underneath that hold the seat securely in place.  You fill the tub up with water and voila! It doesn't seem to tilt over when he leans or falls to the side (he's sitting but still gets tired, you know?).  The older kids can however push the seat on the tub -- so while its suctioned down and not going to flip over it can still slide back and forth. It has three little toys attached to the front bar.  THey are cute but useless - they do nothing. Its pretty easy to wash him (he's almost 20lbs so he's pretty big) and he seems quite content during the majority of his bathing experience.  For the price, the ease of use, the size (easily can store under sink as compared to the infant bath tub which you can't) and just overall value -- two thumbs up!

Both of my sons loved this seat.  It kept them up to view all of the action (toys! bubbles! splashing!) but I wasn't wrangling with a wet, slippery child trying to escape my grasp.  Bathtimes are MUCH easier with this seat!

My son is just starting to learn how to sit up so I got this bath ring for the tub. I was getting tired of continuously holding him up when i gave him baths so I bought this bath ring for him. He is able to sit up and support himself in the tub. I can easily wash his little body even when he is in the bath ring. The ring is great because it does not move around when it is in the water in the tub. It also has small toys at the front of it that my son likes to play with. This bath ring has nice suction cups on the base that make it easy to secure to the bottom of the tub. The base of this ring is wide enough for my son to sit in even though he is a little chubby. The seat also has a nice back area that supports his back for maximum comfort. The white color is easy to coordinate with the bathroom decor.  It is easy to dry this bath ring when it is not in use. This bath ring is large enough that my child will be able to use for as long as he needs to.

This tub ring is great.  It suctioned to the bottom of my tub, so I didn't have to worry about it slipping.  It hold my daughter in a sitting position so she can play and splash without me having to worry about her falling over.  Definitelty a must have for your sitting up baby.
