I found this product when looking for a hair color that could be used after a relaxer. I was intrigued by the fact that it blends your grays as opposed to just covering it. This was the first time coloring my hair by myself. The instructions were easy to understand and in no time my hair was done. A few strands remained gray but I'm pleased with the results.

The last time I changed my hair color was over 25 years ago when I was in my early 20s.  I went through a "Dark Auburn" phase for a couple of years.  After suffering really bad hair breakage, I finally accepted the fact that the permanent dye was much too harsh for my relaxed hair.   Lately, I've begun to notice a handful of grays sprouting and I decided to see if I could find a gentle formula that would cover the gray without damaging my hair.  I purchased a box of **Just 5 - Five Minute Hair Colorant** because it promised: - **Semi-permanent color** - One application lasts up to 6 weeks, until the gray grows back. - **Five gentle minutes** - Doesn't expose my hair to chemicals for 30 minutes  - **Color gray right after you relax your hair** - No more waiting a week to color - **Replenishing conditioners** - The added conditioners go to work as you color - **Gray coverage** - Blends shades of my natural color so that the gray looks more like highlights - **Doesn't alter natural color** - It just kind of brightens it Ever careful, I didn't use Just 5 until a week had passed after my retouching my relaxer.  I know they say that you can color right away, but I figure it's better to be safe than sorry.  I applied the Just 5 hair color (Natural Darkest Brown) on clean, but not "just washed" hair and let it sit for about 7 minutes.  The results were pretty good.  Most of the greys did look blended into my natural--now brightened--hair color.  However, a couple of them did not retain the dye.  It may have been that I didn't apply the product evenly, but it's such a small matter that it's hardly noticeable. My hair feels great; not dry, damaged or frizzy.  I haven't had any breakage after using **Just 5 - Five Minute Hair Colorant**, and I know that I'll continue to use it in the future.  My biggest issue is that it's hard for me to find locally.  I've had to purchase it online, so I'll probably buy a few boxes at a time to make sure that I always have one on hand.
