This coffeemaker works well as would be expected from Capresso. Coffee comes out tasting very good without getting burned, and the carafe keeps the coffee warm for hours. As with all goldtone filters, there will be some sediment in the pot. The carafe is a little bit difficult to clean as it does build up some sediment, especially in the joint between the bottom and sides of the pot. The filter developed a small hole after about six months of use. Otherwise, the machine is holding up well at over one year. The exterior looks very nice though it is prone to smudges. The timer settings and quick brew options work like a charm. The cleaning takes a couple minutes but is not too difficult other than the bottom of the carafe as mentioned.
