Most HelpfulI am jumping on the band wagon of Ellen Page fans now after seeing Juno. This movie totally gave me permagrin for hours after leaving the theater. I laughed so hard at all the quirky, witty one-liners from Ellen's character, Juno. She was the coolest female character I have seen on the big screen since...

Most HelpfulBottom-Line: In the end-game Juno is entertaining, but scratch below the surface and you will see a movie that none too realistic, at least in this America.
What can be said about Canadian actress Ellen Page within the paragraph's of this review that have not already been said by countless silver-screen...
review »First a couple flaws that bugged me. 1.. Juno as well as other characters seem to have assimiliated too much pop-culture references from the early 60's through the 80s -- Rare that a 16year old would have a pop-culture reference library in her brain that would span over such a long time period. 2. -- These kids don't have cell phones and aren't emailing or texting each other!!!!
Enough of that. Juno has sass and attitude as a film. It takes off and keeps going, unleashing a torrent...
review »Juno is the title character played by Ellen Page with an authenticity and depth not often witnessed by such a young actress. Page also shares the limelight with the sharp-witted dialogue written by Diablo Cody (who won an Academy Award for her...
review »I hadn't heard of this film until Oprah started yapping about it and it was nominated for gobs of Golden Globes. So a few weeks ago when I was off of work for a holiday and I was lonely I went to se Juno and I LOVED it!
Juno was a great film! The story is about Juno, a 16-year-old high school student who got bored on day and had sex with her friend Paulie. And got pregnant. Oops. Paulie is a little freaked out by the whole thing and his involvement is basically the conception and not much else as Juno takes control and deals with the pregnancy.
The basis of the movie is very simple. It's...
review »The movie revolves around a young 16-year old girl, Juno MacGuff, who after having sex with her friend Paulie Bleeker (Michael Cera) finds she's pregnant. Knowing that she's not ready to care for a child, Juno originally...
review »If you've seen any news story or any daytime talk show, you've seen one side of Teen Pregnancy. I've seen stories about teens who slept around a lot and got pregnant, teens who actually were trying to get pregnant, teens who were "pressured" into doing things and ended up pregnant, and teens who just were way out there. Juno shows another type of teen pregnancy. It shows the side of a teen, named Juno, who isn't necessarily a bad girl. She doesn't do things because of peer pressure or because she's wild. Juno just made a mistake one time and ended up having to pay for it.
This is not to...
review »I've been waiting to see this movie since it was out in theaters. I'd say it was worth the wait. Juno is an innovative movie, one that others could really learn a lesson from. The comedy in the movie is delivered in a way that is so serious, you wonder if they were even joking at all.
Ellen Page does a terrific job as Juno, a very intelligent teenage girl who finds herself pregnant after a one-time encounter with Paulie Bleeker, a boy she calls her best friend. Paulie Bleeker is such a weird, unconfident kid that just the site himself is funny. He dresses funny, his hair is always...
review »Is Juno heartwarming? Certainly. Unfortunately, I found it to be just a little bit too precious for my taste. I can appreciate that Juno is an intelligent outcast. I can appreciate that she's quippy. I'm quippy too. However, NO ONE is that quippy in real life. The entire script was composed as if to see how many quotable lines Diablo Cody could shove into one film. I wasn't crazy about the acting, either. I wasn't sure if Ellen Page was truly acting, or just being Ellen Page. Michael Cera, while hilarious, essentially has been playing the same character since he played George...
