Juno —

Juno is one of the best movies I have ever seen.  I was invited to a free sneak preview and I can't wait to pay to go see it again.  Ellen Page (Juno) was perfect in the role and just received a Golden Globes nomination.  She plays a sixteen year old who finds out that she is pregnant after her first sexual experience.  She decides to give her baby up for adoption and the movie tells the story of her pregnancy.  While this topic is not something that would normally be considered funny, Juno seems to be able to turn things around and look at the witty bright side of the situation. Jennifer Gardner was unexpectedly great as the potential adoptive mother and Jason Bateman plays the role of adoptive father in such a way that I couldn't picture anyone else playing that role.  I wholeheartedly recommend this movie to anyone who enjoys witty movies that use lots of interesting dialogue to tell an important story.
