I really wanted to like this movie, but I just couldn't.

Is Juno heartwarming?  Certainly.  Unfortunately, I found it to be just a little bit too precious for my taste.  I can appreciate that Juno is an intelligent outcast.  I can appreciate that she's quippy.  I'm quippy too.  However, NO ONE is that quippy in real life.  The entire script was composed as if to see how many quotable lines Diablo Cody could shove into one film.  I wasn't crazy about the acting, either.  I wasn't sure if Ellen Page was truly acting, or just being Ellen Page.  Michael Cera, while hilarious, essentially has been playing the same character since he played George Michael Bluth on Arrested Development.  As I said before, I really wanted to like this movie, but it just didn't live up to the hype.

On the upside, Juno has a great soundtrack.
