this is just ridiculous! a 13 year old getting pregnant and her parents being ok with it? i don't think so! this is so stuped! i haven't seen this movie and don't plan to! what are we teaching our kids with movies like this? i love my child, but if she were to come home pregnant at 13, i don't know what i'd do. too many kids end up like this, and for what? a waisted life! why are we exposing our children to this? so they can do it too? if you're going to do a movie like this, show what it's really like when you get pregnant that young! what is this world coming to?

This movie is teaching kids that it is possible to get pregnant at a young age. You can't just act like it does not happen. Before this movie, no one really talked about it. It was the "unspoken shame". That is why so many girls wait so long to tell their parents, because they disown them. This is something especially in this age we need to talk about with our girls and boys.

Please review only movies you've actually SEEN. Being critical of any product you haven't experienced yourself damages your credibility.

The Juno character is 16. You should truly review or comment on things you have seen or have experience with not via hearsay. What if you wind up liking the movie if and when you ever see it?

NOthing against you writing an essay about how you don't like the impressions you've formed on the movie... but when rating the movie and doing pros and cons are involved... you've just reviewed something you haven't actually seen.

And also, she was sixteen. Not 13. Maybe if you weren't so quick to judge and took a little bit of time to find out about the movie you wouldn't have written a review that was so ill-informed.

what's stupId is when adults can't spell simple words and take everything for face value. It's a movie. It's not realistic; that's not the point. I don't think your child's mind is going to be completely torn apart by one movie...because that's all it is. A movie.

amandacarrier: While I agree that the pre-teen and teenage pregnancy epidemic is not something to be taken lightly, I disagree with a few points in your review. It is hard to review a movie you haven't seen. I saw it (with my Pastor) last week. We both loved it because we realized that this COMEDY was not going to be 2 hours of "how acting like an adult has consequences". This movie is not something to take your child to unless you can discuss it with them afterwards and teach them to distinguish the difference between "hollywood" and "reality"...And the main character is in senior high (I know, still too young) and far smarter than anyone I knew of that age. That's what makes it an entertaining movie. No one wants to spend $9.50 to sit through 2 hours of their own crappy lives...it's called escapism. Give it a try.
