Plot: A young man discovers that he can teleport anywhere at anytime. He also discovers that there are others just like him and others who are out to kill ones like him. Now thrown into a war that has been fought for thousands of years, David (Christensen) has to discover how to live and keep what he values at the same time.
What I thought: Jumper is a good action film. It's got a pretty good storyline that hasn't been rundown in the movie world so it's still pretty fresh and entertaining. It's pretty fascinating...
review »When I first saw the previews for Jumper, I thought, "Wow, that looks awesome!" Well, it didn't dissappoint as far as action. Interesting characters and plot development but there were some parts of the relationship between characters that was lacking and somewhat cheesy. It is full of action scenes that I am sure many guys will think are great. It kept me interested and entertained but the ending was much to be desired and kind of just drops you off and leaves you asking, "What?" Overall though, I would recommend this movie but if they are going to make a sequel, I'm not sure there is much left...
review »Jumper is among one of my least favorite movies. I can't even bare watching the entire movie. The storyline is a bit stretched and predictable. The casting and acting was horrible. I was actually hoping this story will not have a happy ending and have a kick to it so it wasn't so predictable. I thought Riceball should have died since he was such a moron. I still don't get how the heck they managed to kill the tracker. Both of the jumpers did not look like fighters and why did the 2nd jumper wanted to save Millie? Riceball wants to get in her pants and obviously was too dumb to figure...
review »I really enjoyed Jumper. I thought the storyline was great and my interest was held throughout the movie. The actors did a fine job and the special effects were just right. I wasn't very happy with the end. There was no real resolution. The door is open for a sequel, but I think they could have done a better job of winding up. I read online that this movie sucked, but I am glad I went anyway. It really was worth seeing.
Jumper kept me interested but left me wanting more. Why not make the movie a little longer and explain some things. Add a little depth to the movie. it is difficult to go from annasofia a very good actress to a grown up bilson (whose acting seems to consist of making pretty eyes.
