Jumbo - Universal Remote —
Lulu, one of my little ones, gave me a most unusual Christmas present this past season: "The Sharper Image Smart Universal Jumbo Remote" with Luminescent Touch Pad. It is AWESOME! I admit that I do have the occasional senior moment, and I suspect that is what motivated my Lulu to give me such a BIG (Did I mention it was BIG?) remote controller. This puppy is pretty difficult to lose, and it lights up like Broadway everytime you touch the pad. Yes, I have on occasion used it as a night light in the middle of the night and in the wee hours of the very early morning. It saves me a ment on the utilities, LOL! This little gem was a breeze to program; and it controls up to eight different devices: TV, DVD, VCR, DVR, SAT or CBL, Audio/CD, and AUX 1 & 2. It is also capable pf controlling DVD/TV/DVR Combo Systems. The buttons are extra-large and lighted. It even has an easy to use on-screen navigation key. This remote is so smart it has an easy one touch learn function that will allow you to transport codes from your old remote; not only can it control everything known to man, but it can teach you how to use it too! You can set a time to shut off a device using its convenient Sleep Timer. And eye strain, Forgetaboutit! This remote is as easy to see as it is to use; by golly, you'll have a more difficult time misplacing this one! It operates on four AAA batteries. I dare say this remote is one of the most practical presents I've received it a good long little while, save my laptop; and I just don't know how I ever got along without it. Thank You, Lulu!! OXOXOX
