Luckily for me, our local liquor store lets you put together your own assorted six and twelve packs of beer from around the world....and the Germans have this stuff down.  This particular beer is what I would call crisp-and while the Germans would have my head for this, it is best served frosty cold....(Germans have a habit of drinking their bier at room temperature)  In fact, my husband threw one in the freezer and almost forgot about it, but it made one heck of a beer slushy, which was quite welcome after working in the yard.  This beer has rapidly become one of my favorites, and the brewery has other offerings that I am more than willing to try based upon this experience. Prices vary around the country, I am sure, but I am paying less than $1.75 per bottle, and if you go to the local pub, you will pay a heck of alot more for domestic swill on tap....It is light in taste without a heavy aftertaste, and I don't burp it back all evening.  However, this isn't a light beer on calories so those of you who watch carbs beware.  This is the real deal, and a phenomenal choice to enjoy a light pilsner type of beer at its best....Stroh's is dishwater suds compared to this, and don't even get me started on the champagne of bottled beer.  I consider this price competitive with most domestic microbreweries.
