Juice Plus+ Fruit and Vegetable Supplements Review

In November of 2005 I was diagnosed as having Type 2 Diabetes.  My blood glucose levels were very high and out of control.  Immediately, my physician wanted to place me on prescription medication.  I insisted he give me one month to show improvement in my glucose readings; he said he'd give me two, but to prove him wrong because he didn't think I would do it.

That was all the motivation I needed.  Quickly I began educating myself about health and nutrition.  Although I thought I was a fairly health-conscious person, I knew I was taking shortcuts when it came to nutrition.  I shop at my local Farmer's Market, but my diet was anything close to being balanced.  I worked long hours, often skipping meals.  Late at night I would grab a bowl of cold cereal and go to bed.  My calorie count was not real high, but my carbs were.
