Juice Beauty is one of my favorite natural skincare brands on the market! This product is truly superb. I have normal skin with slight hyperpigmentation from a very severe teenage sunburn. I have noticed that after using this product, my skin tone has become more even and the texture of my skin, over all, has improved. This product does tingle upon applying because of the live green apple enzymes, but not to the point of being uncomfortable. I highly recommend this product for brightening and evening skin tone!

I first tried this when I couldn't find my go to peel made by MyChelle. I cleansed my face in the shower and then applied the peel. This stuff is very tingly and works deep. The good thing is that it really gets in there and dissolves dead skin, but it does not make your face raw. It is something that you could use a couple or three times a week without getting too irritated. Or it is great in the trial size quantities for a quick skin brightening treatment. My foundation makeup went on beautifully the next morning and was very smooth. It helps me with my acne, because it clears dead skin and brings new skin to the surface. I would be careful getting it too close to the soft skin around the eyes or the corners of the mouth as this might become irritating over time. Although, i did put some on my lips and it exfoliated them too! Not sure if you are supposed to do that but I did. I love that this is a natural and botanical product safe for all skin types.

I received this as a free product after I purchased a few lip moisturizers with Juice Beauty. I love the smell of the Green Apple Peel. It smells sweet and delicious. Too bad I cannot eat it. I used it on my face and I could feel a stingy sensation to my face. It is easy to apply and I don't have to leave it on for too long (probably 10 mins) before I wash it off. My face feels refresh everything after using it. It just does not remove any of my black spot and blemishes. It makes my face smooth and soft though. I think they only use natural ingredients so I think it is safe to use over a long period of time.

Juice Beauty makes two Green Apple Peels - a full strength and a sensitive version. They're both made of brown sugar, green apple and their proprietary juice base concentrate, so it's a pretty mild glycolic acid peel. I use the sensitive version because I have sensitive skin and although it says you can leave it on for 10-15 minutes, I leave it on for a max of 10 minutes and sometimes only 5 minutes, depending on the state of my skin. Even at 5 or 10 minutes, though, my skin gets a bit red. Don't let it scare you, though, as the redness goes away within a few minutes. A little lavender essential oil patted on your skin after the peel will help to reduce the redness more quickly. Anyway, whenever I use a product that stays on my skin and sinks into my skin for awhile, I prefer to use something with organic ingredients, which is my favorite thing about Juice Beauty, plus I like the sugary scent of this peel. I've found that as long as I use it once a week or once every other week, it keeps my skin clear and gets rid of any dead skin buildup. I think it makes my moisturizer more effective, too.

I have never done a facial peel at home before. Just the process alone doesn't sound right. I got a sample of this Green Apple Peel Full Strength. I am not sure if they have different strength levels. It is supposed to brighten, tighten and lighten. After 8 minutes (directions say to leave it on for 15!) My face started to burn and get red. There was no way I could leave it on as long as instructed. I washed it off and my face was red for hours. My skin did feel smoother, but of course...a layer got burned off. It was not worth it to me. I do like how it is cerftified organic with organic apple, lemon, grape juices, raw cane sugar and white willow bark. It also contains hydroxy acids that brighten and lighten skin but that is an alcohol!

It tingles just short of burning. I am using the full strength. It makes my face red and sensitive for an hour or so after I use it, but that goes away. I normally use it before my evening shower so that I don't feel it too much before going to bed. Generally I try to use it once a week. I chose this product because after much research it has the kind of acids in it that were OK to use while pregnant, previous products that I have used are not and I don't like to use anything toxic. At the same time, I want to maintain smooth and exfoliated skin! This was a good choice for me.

**I Love Juice Beauty's Green Apple Facial Peel!**!  It really tingles the longer you keep it on. I got a sample of it from a popular beauty store because I was looking for something natural to help exfoliate my skin-you know without all the chemicals, fragrances and perservatives!  So the sales woman sugggested I try this and I did love it! I put it all over my freshly cleansed face and got in the tub to soak, I ended up staying in longer that I thought about 40 mins. anyway the longer I kept it on and kept my face moist with steam from the warm bath water it would tingle more and more! Now at first this felt a bit uncomfortable but that's also how I knew it was working so I kept it on as long as I could and once I washed it off with cool water and a wash cloth my face felt very invigorated, tingly and fresh revealing a new layer of youthful skin! Later the next day when I went to put makeup on my skin looked extra glowy and I could just feel how the peel had promoted collagen growth and it's anti-aging magical affects!! I highly recommend trying this product and don't be afraid of the tingly affect - some may think this means you are allergic and stop using but no it actually just means it's working!
