I love all natural and organic ingredients, so I was excited to try out my sample of this Juice Beauty facial cleanser.  The name "Juice Beauty" sounded yummy and I loved the all natural and organic ingredients. Besides the lack of a fruity or even nice scent, I really like this cleanser.  It's made with outstanding ingredients and performed great.  If you don't mind the scent, I would definitely recommend **Juice Beauty Cleansing Gel.** Effectiveness While the scent was a major bummer, the way this cleanser cleaned my face was very nice. It's made for oily/combination skin, which is the type of skin I have right now while I'm pregnant. It didn't seem to lather much, but I don't really mind since it left my face feeling clean, soft and fresh. Afterwards, my face wasn't dried out or tight feeling, it just felt clean. Scent I have to admit, I was pretty disappointed when I got a whiff of Juice Beauty Cleansing Gel. I imagined it to smell like yummy fruit juices since lemon juice, sweet cherry juice and red grape juice are the first items on the ingredient list. Unfortunately, it smells nothing like that. The scent smells kind of like herbs and wood or something botanical - not fruity at all.

First of all, one of the reviews under the Juice Beauty Cleansing Gel title seems to actually be about the Juice Beauty Green Apple Cleansing Gel. Be aware that the Green Apple Cleansing Gel is a different product and is part of Juice Beauty's anti-aging line. The plain "Cleansing Gel", on the other hand, is part of their combination/oily/anti-acne line. Anyway, I've been using this cleanser as my sole cleanser for a couple years now. I have combo skin and sometimes develop minor blemishes, but I really feel that this cleanser helps to keep my skin clear and bright. It doesn't really foam, though, so if you're looking for that type of cleanser, this isn't it. What I like about it is that it smells like juice, cleans my skin well and removes my makeup (although I use mineral makeup, so if you use heavier makeup, you may need a stronger cleanser), and it leaves my skin feeling soft and not tight or dried out. One warning, though, is that the last bottle I purchased about a month ago seems to be a thinner formula, so I'm not sure if they're watering down the product. Hope not, because that would really reduce my respect for the company.
