LOVE the Joovy Kooper!

This stroller was a gift and has been one of the best baby items we received! It has the structure and functionality of a large stroller, but the folding mechanism of an umbrella stroller - best of both worlds! The seat is generously sized and comfortable for little riders. The full recline and five-point harness allow this stroller to be used from birth, and it has an impressive weight capacity ensuring a long and useful life. The canopy is ample and one of the most generous we've seen. It's a great block for sun, wind, rain, etc., and has a convenient "peek-thru" window for parents to keep an eye on little ones while pushing the stroller. The storage basket underneath the seat is also generous and holds more than we've needed to tote around. There are small cup holders and storage compartments on the back of the seat which have come in handy, especially the zippered compartment which is large enough to keep a pack of wipes, a few diapers, and such. The cup holder are small and better suited for a narrow water bottle than anything else, but they do come in handy sometimes. Keep in mind that when fully reclined the cup holders also recline. To improve usability, we installed a cup holder directly to the stroller handle that is not impacted by the recline of the child's seat. The maneuverability of the Kooper is excellent and we have loved it overall, recommending it to many friends.

Umbrella strollers have nothing on Joovy!

5

This is a fantastic stroller. I love the huge canopy and the included organizer pouch. The basket is roomy and easily accommodates a diaper bag and purse. The handles are easy on the hands. This stroller is so light and folds up so small that it will no doubt fit in the back of most cars. I was able to easily fit it in the trunk of a 2005 Chevy Cavalier, so there you go. Design I don't know how they got a stroller this substantial to fold up so small, but they did it well. It may not be as light as an umbrella stroller, but it is much more stable and durable. I liked that the handles weren't connected, so I could hang my purse or bags more easily. The only downside is that you don't have a good cupholder for adult cups, but you can buy an attachment for that at any auto parts store. I also really like the two mesh pockets on the insides of the seat, so the kid can store take-along toys, a snack, or their cup. Safety The buckles and straps are very nice and even though I've been using them for more than three years now, I still have no issues with wear and tear on them. The seat reclines nicely and smoothly so you don't disturb a sleeping child, and the footrest area is useful. Child Comfort My kids have always been comfortable in here, except for some slight slouching when they were younger. You can use a Kiddipotamus snuzzler to bolster younger babies. Shy older kids, like mine, will enjoy being able to use their canopy as a hiding dome :) Maneuverability This stroller turns like a dream! One-handed swiveling is a cinch, even with a heavy load. Durability In the three years of use, I have not had to replace any parts on this stroller. All parts are holding up well to age and use, even the tires. The material is tough without being scratchy and the buckles haven't broken.

Good price but weight limit should be less

4

I think it should change the weight limit to around 30 pounds as its hard to move at 42 pounds. Also seems like it needs more leg room so if child is tall for there age the can fit comfortble. I would rate this 3 stars as the price and durability is good. Maneuverability The weight limit I think should be less than they say. It's hard to move. My son is 42 pounds and the weight stays in the front so trying to get the wheels up a curb is tough. It feels like it going to tip.

Great city stroller

4

We bought this stroller last year and it has worked really well for us It is well built and sturdy. We used it through Chicago snow and it was easy to maneuver and handle. It has a great great sun shade. I haven't seen any other stroller with such large expansive shade. Works well in light rain too. It reclines almost fully. This feature is really useful if your kid is used to falling asleep in the stroller. Another big plus is that it has pockets on the inside of the seat so my kid can keep "valuables" right next to him. Also it has a nice big basket below to stow stuff and has a zippered pocket at the back where you can keep things. The only major problem with it is that it not as light as a typical umbrella stroller. So if you're looking for a typical umbrella stroller, this might be a little more bulky and a little harder to fold. The other main complaint I have is that the cup holders are not large enough to hold cups. You could probably just fit a baby bottle in there but not a coffee cup or a larger water bottle. All in all, a very nice umbrella stroller. Would highly recommend.

good compact stroller

If you need a small stroller, look no further.  The Joovy Kooper is a great smaller stroller to have for any trip.  I have a larger stroller that came as a travel system package but it seemed quite big to get in and out of my car for a quick trip into the store. I researched and found the stylish Kooper at an affordable price. I use my Kooper everywhere!  Mall, library or at the playground with my 2 kids.  It is lightweight to get in/out of the car.  It handles well and is not a big effort to push. There are a few reasons why I chose the Kooper: large canopy, 5 point harness, storage basket and high weight limit.  Both of my kids can use the Kooper which makes it nice when we are out and one of them needs a break.   Plus it even has a zipped place for keys/cell phone and 2 cup holders. The front wheels do take up a bit more space than an umbrella stroller but in my mid-size car, there is plenty of room.  I can pack our family of four and still have room.

Great everyday stroller

4

I have owned many many strollers over the years. I think this is one of my favorites! I was able to get it at a great price which makes it even better! I love the modern look and style of this stroller! I have the brownie color and love the way it looks. It rolls and steers really well, even with one hand, which is great for a mom. It has an great umbrella fold so it fits in the back of my van and it folds quickly and easily. The sun canopy is huge, probably the biggest of any stroller that I've ever had. Customer service is also great! I had a question since I bought the floor model and didn't get the instructions. They got right back to me and were super helpful. This is a great all around stroller for everyday use. The only thing that could make it better is a snack tray in the front for my son.

Awesome Stroller

5

This is an great stroller right out of the box. Sanp the wheels on and attach the canopy and go. Love the canopy - it shades EVERY part of the toddlers body. Also love the pockets for mom and the inside pockets for baby to stash toys and a cup in, never seen this feature before in a stroller.I can pick up the entire stroller with one hand and also maneuver it one handed. It handles really well and it is really narrow in the front for those hard to get through ailes. The seat reclines almost completely flat and definetly accomodates a baby younger then 6 months. I only have two issues, but they are not enough for me to get a different stroller. The basket underneath is really flimsy and just rests on the support bars, it doesn't really hold up well, wish it was more ridgid. Also when folded it does not stand on its own, draw back when trying to juggle baby on the hip and get it in and out of the trunk. We really love this stroller.

The JOOVY is GROOVY!!

5

I am a mother of 5 children ages from 15-2, so I have been through A LOT of strollers, travel systems, and whatnot. If it is meant to carry a baby/child, I have either owned it or entertained the idea of owning it. When I had my youngest son we started with a Graco travel system. I learned shortly after his birth that the stroller part of the system did not fit in the back of my Expedition. I was so upset, and angry that I had bought this travel system, and I could not even use it the way we had intended. So I sold my travel system and bought the Joovy Kooper in black. I needed something that was still supportive for an infant, could recline and was more durable that a regular umbrella stroller. It was going to be stored in the trunk of my truck when we weren't using it, so I also needed a stroller that was compact, and could fit back there with all the other things that I would be stuffing back there (baseball bags, football equipment). This stroller has been a God send!! It is perfect, I love the sun shade, wide wheel base, HUGE basket, compactness, and functionality of this stroller. Like I said, PERFECT!!! I am always asked by people what kind of stroller it is, so it is an attention grabber, and not one you see everyday. If you are entertaining the idea of this stroller for your little one, I would emphatically say "YES"!! It is so worth the investment!

wonderful stroller

I bought this stroller to replace my travel system after my son was old enough to not have to use the car seat...I felt the travel system stroller was a bit on the bulky side.  I wanted something that was conveinient like an umbrella stroller, but much more durable and comfy....I found it here in this stroller.  I love it.  We use it everyday, he sits in it and is even able to lay back comfortably and sleep.  I wish I had found this when I had my other children.
