I haven't had much luck with new brands of shampoo lately, but since I had a sample of this, I figured I might as well try it. I've never used a Joico product before, but using this shampoo I would definitely buy a product of theirs. Effectiveness I'm not sure what "Age Defy" has to do with this shampoo, but I loved the way this product cleaned my hair. It was a little thin and runny...pouring off my hand, but once I got it in my hair, it lathered really well. I followed up with a Dove conditioner and then blow dried my hair. My hair was left super clean and looked great. Scent Joico re:nu Age Defy Fullness & Body Shampoo has a very light scent. It's hard to determine what the scent is, but I don't have any issues with it and I tend to be sensitive to smells.
