I got Joico Body Luxe Thickening Shampoo based off of my stylists recommendation after my last color visit. I was looking for a shampoo that was sulfate free, and that would help add some volume to my hair (Surprise, surprise there are not that many out on the market). My stylist told me about this one and I decided to give it a go. This shampoo even though it does not have sulfates creates a nice thick lather with out stripping my hair of its natural oils, or stripping the color. It cleans really nicely too. My hair goes down to my hips and this stuff did help add in quite a bit of volume (Which I was surprised about). It also did not make my hair feel like it had a "coating" on it, it just made my hair feel nice, thick, clean, and lovely. Effectiveness This shampoo did everything that I wanted and needed it to do. Scent The scent is very light, and I would like to say that it is gender neutral. A guy, or a gal could use this shampoo and not get any weird looks. It is very light after it has been washed out, and does not compete with perfumes.

I have very straight, fine, hair. I have been using this shampoo for at least a year now and plan to continue. It leave my hair feeling thicker with lots of body and shine. Works great along with the conditioner. The shampoo has a very pleasant smell and only takes a small amount to lather and wash. Great shampoo.

I have heard good things about this brand from other people, so I decided to cave in and spend a little extra money than I usually do on shampoo to try it out and see if it really would thicken up my hair. This shampoo was rich, lathered really well, and washed out without any effort. My hair always felt clean throughout the day after using the product. The reason I am only giving it a 6 is because it doesn't live up to the "thickening" part of its name. Yes my hair felt good and strong, but I saw no difference in my hair between this product and any other non-thickening product. It is not worth the extra money to pay for this shampoo because it doesn't live up to its name. Effectiveness My hair gets clean, but it doesn't strengthen or thicken it at all. My hair is still thin and brittle after using the entire bottle. Scent Since it isn't specially scented, this shampoo has an average scent. I give it a 7 because it doesn't claim to stand out in its scent.

i received a sample of this product in a subscription box that i purchased. i was able to use this product for about 4 uses along with the conditioner. and as for the shampoo i really liked the smell and i was surprised that the shampoo lathered as much as it did. i really like that about this product. another thing i liked about the product was that once i washed my hair with this shampoo the smell lingered in my hair for a long time after i got out of the shower and of course that was very pleasant. i also liked that my hair was very shiny after one use and also very soft. not very common with a lot of shampoos. i would absolutely try more items from this brand especially ones that were recommended for my style of hair. i am very glad i was got this sample because if it would of been for the subscription box i had i wouldn't of tried this brand or even heard of it since theres not much advertisment or commercials for this brand.

I work in a salon and we use this product it works very good. Its excellent the ph balance in this is also great too! I love the way it smells it smells clean it lathers up nicely. Not only do I use at work but I use at home I try all the joico shampoos but this one is my favorite id have to say. My hair is very fine and instantly I feel the thickness in my hair. I love to know that I can have thick hair when I use this product. I also use the conditioner as well it works nicely and smells really good I always feel such a sudden change in my hair after using jioce thickening shampoo. I always purchase this shampoo at cosmo prof. I don't know where else they sell joico because only professionals use this product but I'm sure you can purchase this shampoo online but I would totlaly recommend this shampoo to anyone who has fine thin hair wants more volume and thickness or even if you already have thick hair and want it more thicker and if you want your hair to smell nice then I would totally recommend this shampoo to you. I gurantee you wil be most satisfied. I love joico its a really good brand in shampoo and conditioner.

This shampoo is amazing. I bought it after a stylist recommended it to me because of my dry, brittle hair, which was a result from over-bleaching. Within a few washes, my hair was so much softer and easier to run my hands through. I got compliments from strangers and friends alike on how healthy my hair looked.
