Johnson's, did I get a bad batch?
I'm going to give **Johnson's Natural Baby Lotion** a 3-star rating because I'm hoping my experience is a fluke. I've used Johnson's Natural Baby Shampoo and Johnson's Natural Foaming Body Wash with excellent results, but their baby lotion is another story. This product is 99% natural and contains no parabens or petroleum. My issue with this product is that it smells like it went bad and I've only had it for about 4 months. Natural products are generally good for a year before you should toss them out, so I don't know if it was old when I bought it or if it doesn't last long. Besides the change in smell, I really like this product. Effectiveness I like to put this on my son after he gets out of the bath. We are currently using the matching Johnson's Natural Baby Shampoo, so I like to layer the products because they smell good. My son doesn't have dry skin, but I know the skin on little ones is more sensitive than adults, so using a product like this is important to me. I do think Burt's Bees Baby Lotion is better, but it is also 3-4 times the cost of this product. Scent When it hasn't gone bad, the scent is quite nice. It's a soft baby scent that is very mild and gentle smelling. The bottle says that it is an "ALLERFREE fragrance". Absorption This rubs in nicely and doesn't leave my little guy feeling greasy or anything.
