Great soap for my soap obsessed three year old

into trying new things, experienced parent, a woman, looking for value, married, a comparison shopper

Pros

easy for the kid to use, floats so easily found, foam rinses easily, light, fresh scent, durable, even if dropped, easy for little hands to hold

Cons

I have only found it in the green mesh, wish they had more scents and colors

Johnson's Buddies —

It does seem a bit over-priced. But if you think about, you know that little piece of soap that is too small to hold and too annoying too use that you end up just chucking it or leaving it in the soap dispenser to grow into mildew and sticky grossness as you open up a new box of soap, well, I am estimating that if you added all those bar leftovers together, you would probably end up with more than one bar of soap anyway. Right? Or the bar soaps that our children waste due to pure enjoyment which then accidentally slip at the bottom of the tub and disentagrate, leaving only a marble of soap left to be found after a 30 minute bath - anyways, my point is, Johnson's Buddies bar doesn't do this. In fact, you can use the soft loofah like cover until it soaps no more, using every single ounce of soap product that was present in the box that you bought it in. It floats and the lime green also makes it easy to find in a tub full of warm water and easier to hold for the little one's learning to wash their little bodies properly.

Because of the price, I do hestitate before I grab this soap off the shelves and throw it into my shopping cart, but I learned my lesson when I decided to spend $3.49 on the buy 1 get 1 free brand kids body wash, and stared in disbelief when my son squeezed the whole bottle in the tub (as fast as what felt like a lightening second) after I accidentally left the brightly colored animal clad invitation on the edge.

Great soap. Good buy. I wish they had a multipack, other scents, and other colors.
