This thicker version of Johnson's Baby Oil is so amazing! It doesn't get everywhere, is easier to use, and actually lasts longer. It has more of a lotion feel to it and less of an oil one. This baby oil get - shea & cocoa butter has an amazing smell and also lasts forever. It's great!

I use baby oil for moisturizing after bathing. Regular baby oil is effective but very difficult to control and spread evenly = messy. The gel form is more manageable, and I like the cocoa butter scent. However, WalMart has a plain version in their Equate brand that is just as effective and costs a lot less.

I saw this product and thought I might give it a try since I am an avid fan of Johnson and Johnsons products. I must admit that it did feel a little oily at first (after all, it is baby oil based!) so what would you expect! But it did absorb fairly quickly and on top of that it made my skin very very smooth. I tried it on my baby and he did not have any adverse reaction to it, which tells me that the ingredients they use are all very mild which is definitely a plus for me which means I can use it and so can my son! I would love to see this in a variety of scents and sizes, including maybe travel sizes so that I can take it around with me when I am out and about with my baby. I also haven't really seen this item on sale in many places, which is sometimes a deterrent because there are always so many different options available for moisturization products! Overall I am very pleased and would definitely recommend it to all my friends!

I have been using Johnson's Baby Oil Gel for several years now and can't say enough good things about it!  I started using it to massage into my newborn daughter's dry feet when her skin was scaly, and it softened and nurtured her skin.  But I have found that it works great as a makeup remover for me as well, especially to take off waterproof mascara and long-wear lipstick that are otherwise difficult to remove.  I used to use baby oil for this purpose but the baby oil GEL is much more user-friendly.  It's less drippy and messy, and it feels better on my skin. As I'm removing my makeup, I'm also softening my skin and it feels great.  I have used it on my feet as well, to soften the dry skin and make my heels smoother.  The Shea & Cocoa Butter variety of Johnson's Baby Oil Gel has a light, pleasing fragrance that has not caused any allergic reactions for me or my children.  I feel confident in recommending this product to moms and dads for their children as well as for their personal use.
