Baby powder is a way of life for any parent that has to change a lot of diapers, and as a father who has to change dozens of diapers a week for my daughter, baby powder is a requirement at the diaper changing station. There are many different reasons to use baby powder when changing diapers, but there are two that stand out above the rest for me personally. The first is that it helps to absorb any wetness that is left behind by the wipes we use, and the second is that the baby powder has its own smell, so you can easily check the baby diaper without even looking inside.
Johnson's Baby Powder has become our brand of choice, and I don't see us changing gears when it comes to this product anytime soon. More specifically, we use the Johnson's Baby Powder that has aloe and vitamin E inside of it, which is much gentler on the baby. The Johnson's Baby Powder has a base of cornstarch, and its key use is to deal with any moisture that may have been left behind when changing a diaper. It comes in really handy when you have used damp wipes, but it can also be used if your baby sweats a little bit in the hot months.
The Johnson's Baby Powder is a very easy to use product, with the simple instructions being that you apply it directly to the baby's body. Always make sure that you aren't shaking the container hard enough to get towards the baby's face, because you don't want to get it in their eyes or mouth. We think that with the added aloe and vitamin E that Johnson & Johnson has an excellent product with this baby powder, and it is one we will continue using. The bottle that the baby powder comes in has a rotating lid that opens several holes on top. It is through these holes that the baby powder comes, and the bottle can be squeezed gently to help it come out. Always make sure to close up the bottle after use to keep it at its peak performance level. We highly recommend this Johnson's Baby Powder and suggest that any parent have a nice supply on hand near the diaper station.
