Johnson & Johnson Reach Gentle Gum Care with Fluoride —

How long do you spend in front of the dental floss trying to decide which one to buy? For me it’s too long. I never remember what I like.

In the case of Johnson & Johnson Reach Gentle Gum Care with Fluoride this was my second time buying it. I clearly didn’t remember the first time.

This plastic container holds 50-yards of mint flavor woven floss. What this means is that rather than having one strand there are two. One is white and one is blue. The piece I just used that is in front of me has many more than two. Why? Because it comes apart. In spite of being told it is “extra shred resistant” it isn’t.

I’ve had a problem with the packaging. This is the second container that has broken. The plastic part that holds the piece of metal to cut off the floss comes loose. This means I have to cut the floss with a scissors.

What I do like about this floss is that it slides easily. I have many teeth that are quite close together so that’s a consideration when I buy floss. The cost is about $2.00

I like the mint flavor.

The weaving does feel better on my gums than other floss does but if it shreds in the end it isn’t working for me.

Jo's Conclusion is thumbs down!
