Johnson & Johnson Head-to-Toe Baby Wash Review

Keeping a baby fresh and clean can be accomplished using many different consumer products. Many manufacturer's of baby products have expanded their product line- up to include baby cleaning materials but the company that is best known for this is Johnson's and one of its many cleaning products is Johnson's Head to Toe Baby Wash, a product for infants and toddlers.

Johnson's Head to Toe Baby Wash is a dependable product from a dependable company that has been making reliable, consistent baby products for decades. This product is one of several from Johnson's that is made for cleaning purposes and it offers many of the same great qualities found in all Johnson's baby care products.

Johnson's Head to Toe Baby Wash is very clean, pure, gentle, and easy to apply. You don't need to worry that it might irritate the eyes or skin. The formula, while it does smell like soap, doesn't contain any actual soap so there are no irritants to worry about. If a little bit gets in the eyes, it won't burn- you just rinse them with water. Another nice thing about this baby wash is that it can be used for multiple purposes. It doesn't have the word shampoo in the title, but it can be used to wash hair, eliminating the need for a separate hair care product.

This product has a thick, oily feeling but don't get the wrong idea- the product doesn't feel oily when applied with water and it rinses squeaky clean. Sometimes, instead of applying it directly to the skin, I will add a little bit directly under the faucet and let it mix into a shallow pool of bath water. This is good for a milder bath that isn't as fragrant as the more concentrated method. It's also a good method to use for those quick cleanups- when your baby isn't seriously in need of a good cleaning and just needs simple body refreshment.
 
I first tried Johnson's Baby Wash when my little one was only a few weeks old and my first usage came from a small sample bottle that I received for free. I already had great trust in the Johnson's name so I expected great things from this product. I was not disappointed then and I have not been disappointed since. I have been using Johnson's Baby Wash continuously from day one and it hasn't failed to satisfy. The cost is a little higher than the generic and lesser- known brands (costs about $4 for a 15 oz. bottle) but it isn't expensive enough to deter me from making a purchase. It is still worth the money. It's widely available, too, and it can be found in almost any store that carries baby products.

Bottom Line:

Overall, Johnson's Head to Toe Baby Wash is an excellent cleaning product that performs at or above expectations with a gentle, mild formula that is safe for babies of all ages and has a nice fragrant smell that is similar to Johnson's Bedtime Bath (another 5 star product), only a little bit milder. It is yet another great baby product manufactured by the child experts at Johnson & Johnson.
