I really love this product!  I know it's kind of on the pricey side, but it really, really works!  I have very thick and fine hair and it is perfectly straight - you won't even find a bit of wave or body of any kind.  I have been so sick and tired of buying products that do nothing for it except leave an annoying film on my scalp.  This spray is amazing.  I don't even have to use very much of it and I have enough volume to lift my hair so that it doesn't look like it's been styled to stick to my skull.  I just spray it on my wet hair and then blow dry it upside down for a bit and then dry it the rest of the way.  Some days I still need a bit of curling iron or flat iron to complete it, but a lot of the time I just use the matching hair spray (and just a little of it) and I'm done.  The volume seems to last most of the day, depending on the weather.  I really am sold on this product and would recommend it for anyone else.  I am sure it would work on any hair type since my is one of the most difficult to get volume with and it works on me.  Also, if you go to John Frieda's website, you can get personalized recommendations and coupons.  All in all a great product and worth the price!

I was looking for a new root lifting product that would be effective without breaking the bank, so I really wanted to love John Frieda's Luxurious Volume Lavish Lift Root Booster. However, this product was a big disappointment. There was no lift at all, that I could tell. Now I do have long hair so it takes a powerful product to lift it. However, other more expensive roof lifters have easily done in the past what this Root Booster was unable to do.

The Luxurious Volume Lavish Lift Root Booster has a great name. It is really reasonably priced, and you can easily find it at your local stores. It has a really nice smell. The Root Booster sprays onto the areas you need lifted just like hair spray. However, it goes not hold the hair at all, much less "boosts volume from all 3 dimensions" as the bottle claimed.

I can tell no difference in my hair before and after application. Perhaps it does work if you have fine, short hair. But if you have long, thick hair that needs a little extra boost, keep looking.

A nice little new product in my daily hair regimen

By

from Farmingdale, NY

Comments about John Frieda Luxurious Volume Lavish Lift Root Booster:

Seems like a good product. So far, I have used this product only two days, and while it leaves my hair manageable, I was expecting a bit more lift. I'm hoping that as I continue to use it, it will prove itself as part of my daily hair regimen.

Don't use a lot and make sure you rub it in!!

By

from USA

Comments about John Frieda Luxurious Volume Lavish Lift Root Booster:

Alright some people say this makes there hair have buld up or it's sticky and to some extent I agree. BUT THE REASON IT'S STICKY AND HAS BULD UP IS BECAUSE -- YOU USE TOO MUCH-- I had the same problem and was super sad because it got a lot of great reviews! Then I saw a girl say that you don't need to use much! So I just used 2-3 squirts on my hand and run it on each side of my head (left, right, and top) then (make sure it's wet btw before you put it in) and just rub it in! If you feel sticky I realized it was because the product was still on my hands and it wasnt my hair! Although it's a bit hard to take the product off your hands but that's fine. It makes my hair SUPER thick and volumized!! I absolutely love this!! Less is more I've realized with this product and my hair has gone from limp to voluptuous!!

Lift Root Booster Boosts Your Mood!

By

from Napa, CA

Comments about John Frieda Luxurious Volume Lavish Lift Root Booster:

I received this luxurious root booster in the mail as a free sample just a week or so ago. First of all, I really love the combination of sky blue and royal gold packaging. My friends all have this too, and they said it is a really reasonable price for the amount of product you get, (I believe 6-7 ounces.) Basically what I do with this stuff is I take a quick shower with my Herbal Essences shampoo, then put this in my hair afterwards. The directions on the back say that you should put it on the roots of your hair when your hair is damp, which is pretty much what I regularly do. I will say though - if you are ever in a jam, or are on the run, I would recommend using this. It is such high quality, that I think I can use it without wet hair.

Gives my fine hair a much needed boost

By

from Cleveland, TN

Comments about John Frieda Luxurious Volume Lavish Lift Root Booster:

Once again, I received this product as a sample, and couldn't be happier. It gave my fine hair just the boost I was looking for! The biggest complaint I have always had about my hair is volume, and with John Frieda Luxurious Volume Lavish Lift Root Booster, I no longer have that complaint!

If you have fine, thin hair, or just want to give your hair an added "boost", definitely check this product out. I highly recommend it, and I wouldn't unless it truly works. As a woman, we all want to look and feel our best, and if there is something that we feel needs improvement, we don't feel as confident as we should about ourselves (even though we are all beautiful inside and out). It did not weigh my hair down, it didn't give it a greasy after look...It is just an overall good product. Try it for yourself!

don't lift a finger

By

from Clinton, NY

Comments about John Frieda Luxurious Volume Lavish Lift Root Booster:

I need a bigger boost! This simple product seems easy enough: you spray it right at the roots and go on about your daily routine of getting your hair dried. This did not work for me at all. I even use duck bill clips that I keep in my hair long after my hair is dried. I used it a few times but it did not do anything. It worked as if I have nothing in my hair. I have naturally curly hair and I usually need a little boost on top because the curls do get a bit heavy. Despite the heaviness of my curls I do expect that something should be happening. I do not recommend this product. I recommend that you use a hair spray with duck bill clips to give a bit of volume. Leave this product on the shelf!

Root booster didn't boost enough for me!

By

from Indian River, MI

Comments about John Frieda Luxurious Volume Lavish Lift Root Booster:

I received a sample of this luxurious volume root booster from John Frieda website and was very excited to try it! I used it one day after I shampooed and toweled dried my hair and sprayed it in like the directions said before I blow dried my hair. I use a brush to help smooth and straighten my hair while I dry and I also use velcro rollers after drying my hair to add volume and smooth my hair out. So I figured that adding this spray would add great volume to my hair while I styled but I didn't notice anything different. I may have not sprayed enough in my hair or my hair may just be thick enough that the spray did not make a volume difference. I'm not sure and I wouldn't say that I do not reccommend this product but it may depend on your hair type.

John Frieda offers lots of volume &Lift to the roots of hair

By

from Hot Springs, VA

Comments about John Frieda Luxurious Volume Lavish Lift Root Booster:

John Frieda lift root booster does just that lifts your roots and adds lots of volume to the hair.  It is a very lightweight root booster for the hair works great with your blow dryer and adds lots of volume and shine to the hair shaft.  I was extremely pleased with this product and I will definetly recommend for medium to long hair.  This product is reasonable in price and works great it is a must have for those seeking lot of volume and lift for the hair.  I have pretty thin hair and it didnt feel sticky at all and gave it lots of volume to achieve the look i was looking for and comes in a spray bottle so it is very easy to apply to the roots of your hair.  My hair was very dull and lifeless until I used this product so I have to give it a thumbs up for a styling product.  I liked how easy it was to use and spreads evenly throughout hair after spraying on the roots and working through the hair. also it is not going to dry out the hair.  Totally recommend the product to anyone.

John Frieda wins again!

By

from Springfield, MA

Comments about John Frieda Luxurious Volume Lavish Lift Root Booster:

I have very fine VERY flat hair that doesn't like to cooperate with any styles I try to do my hair with. I found this product hoping that it would give me some volume and lift. And that's just what I got! I love this product so much that i use it every time I wash my hair. I have to say that in the couple months I have been using this, My hair has noticeably thickened and has a ton more volume, even if I don't use it after I take a shower. Another thing I love is the smell.. It smells kinda fruity-ishad not that strong at all. This product also leaves me with a nice soft shine in my hair. I really enjoy using it and haven't found one thing wrong with it except that if you don't brush everything out perfectly even it won't even ou tand spread leaving you with crusty stuff all over your hair. But that shouldn't be a problem if you brush everything out evenly. So all in all this is a GREAT product for anyone looking for a boost to their hair and maybe even a little shine too.(;
