Love John Frieda

4

I love John Frieda products. I am a natural blonde and tend to have a darker shade, kind of dirty blonde. So I like to bring out the natural highlights I have in my hair without having do dye it or do streaking, or highlights at a salon. The John Frieda Blonde shampoo was great for my hair. It really does help bring out the natural blonde highlights. It is also a nice soft shampoo that does not dry out your hair or make it all frizzy. Only a small amount is needed as it is rather concentrated so the bottle lasts you a long time. The conditioner for highlights is also a great addition to the shampoo as you get better results when you combine the two. People with short, long, straight, or curly hair can use this shampoo. Also, it would be fine for oily, dry or normal hair. It also has a nice smell to it that is not too strong and powerful. I would recommend this shampoo and will definitely be buying it again for myself.

John Frieda Highlight Activating Enhancing Shampoo

Just received John Frieda Highlight Activating Enhancing Shampoo sample, and like it alot, lathers well and easily rinses out adds lumonous shine and bounce, makes your hair look thicker and full of body. Adds those subtle highlights and softness to your hair. I was real impressed by the results this shampoo gave me and plan on purchasing and adding it to my usual choice shampoos and conditioners, Was even impressed with the conditoner which I also received as a sample which I wrote a separate review for here on Viewpoints. This shampoo promises and you will get those results. Have also been receiving compliments on my hair with this brand, don't usually get compliments on my hair with other brands as I did with this brand of shampoo and conditioner. Effectiveness Effectiveness of this shampoo is far superior to that of some other pricey shampoos, it lathers wonderfully and makes your hair feel clean and squeaky, I am very happy with this shampoo. It lathers well even in my water which is semi hard part well water and city water, does not make your hair feel dried out after shampooing. Scent Like the scent is smells like a floral scent that is light and not overpowering but the scent even though light stays on your hair even after use without the use of conditioner

John Frieda Sheer Blonde cleans well and leaves hair shiny!

I am always blonde. I started out blonde as a baby and now I pay to get my blonde hair in a salon. My hair has a ton of highlights, so I was curious to see what my samples of John Frieda Sheer Blonde Highlight Activating Shampoo and Conditioner would do for my hair. As it turns out, the conditioner doesn't so much, but I did enjoy the shampoo. Effectiveness I really like this shampoo for its cleansing abilities and the fact that combining it with the conditioner, my blonde hair was shiny and soft after using. I'm not sure how much shinier my hair would be if I didn't use the matching conditioner, but by using both, I got nice results in the shininess department. I also love that this shampoo REALLY lathers. I got a ton of bubbles each time I used this product and I love that. To me, the more the lather, the better the cleaning job! Scent I'm not a fan of this scent, which is why I had to knock a star off and give this product 4-stars. With a better, non-perfumey scent, this would be a great product.

love the way my hair looks

This stuff is great. I don't use any other shampoos now that I've found this. Leaves my hair feeling clean but not limp or stripped so clean that it can't hold even a ponytail holder. And, hello blonde. It makes the color pop and I love it.

***PRODUCT:*** ***THE JOHN FRIEDA HIGHLIGHT ACTIVATING ENHANCING SHAMPOO*** Seems like only the biggest stores (read *WalMart*) currently have this in stock in my metropolitan area.  I went to *www.johnFrieda.com* and chose a free sample of the **Frieda Highlight Activating Enhancing Shampoo** formulated for **Darker Blonde Shades**.  Thank you, John!  This product's "Highlight Optimizers" have honey and oatmeal extracts designed to bring out highlights for "maximum blonde impact".  They sound so but... The complete list of ingredients?  *Water, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Sodium Chloride, Cocamide MEA, Fragrance, Silicone Quaternium-18, Glycol Distearate, Guar Hydroxyproplytrimonium Chloride, Trideceth-6, Benzyl Alcohol, Disodium EDTA, Trideceth-12, Malic Acid, Glycine, PPG-9, Sodium Hydroxide, Caramel, Yellow 5, Methylchloroisothiazolinenone, Propylene Glycol, Glycerin, Methylisothiazolinone, Avena Sativa (oat) Meal Extract, Red 33, *and *Honey Extract.* This is quite a chemical cocktail, the second and third ingredients of which are considered suspicious additives.  I know little about the following ingredients though I'd be happy to hear from anyone who cares to single out any other "suspects". This is a moisturizing shampoo intented for use on either natural of color-treated hair and as a treatment for "burnt-out blonde hair".  It adds NO color to the result. ***MY HAIR PROFILE*** I *am* definitely a "tender flower".  My hair is fine and thinning out a bit.  To avoid itching and water-filled scalp bumps, my dermatologist advised moving from one shampoo to another when trouble starts.  This has provided me with some relief and many dandruff shampoo reviews. The most successful shampoo so far as been *SUAVE Clarifying *and *SUAVE NATURALS Refreshing Waterfall Mist*.  They're extremely inexpensive and *not* designed for dandruff sufferers.  I'm thinking that *SUAVE NATURALS' *success may be that it actually *cleans* my scalp better. I am a natural dark blonde almost totally grown out from various applied lighter shades.  I now have some white streaks which (so far) look highlight-y.   ***MY VIEWPOINT EXPERIENCE WITH FRIEDA SHAMPOO*** After using this **Highlight Activating Enhancing Shampoo**, I appreciated the shine and liked the soft feel of my hair.  My set (I use rollers) turned out kind of fluffy and slightly askew.  By the next morning, the left (sleeping) side of my hair had flattened out entirely and the right side retained curl but looked floppy.  By day's end, my scalp had started to itch.  Obviously, from that point, my experience failed to please.  I believe someone with thicker hair and lots of natural body might more fully realize the advantages of this product.  Like many fine-haired folk, I skip conditioners since they tend to weigh the hair down.  If you have more and thicker hair, however, the *Sheer Blonde Highlight Activating Enhancing Conditioner* might be a useful grooming tool.******
