I tried John Frieda's root awakening and was very impressed from the very first use. I have been dying and heat styling my hair for about 9 years, since I was a teen and it really shows. After just one use of this product I recieved multiple compliments on how healthy my hair looked. It was shiny, full, manageable and you really couldn't tell that my hair had ever been in bad shape. I recently had the opportunity to try the new John Freida Root Awakening hair line. Let me tell you, I was very skeptical at first, because I have very dry, curly hair. I always end up having to by top of the line products to control the dryness, frizz and curl. After reading several things about this shampoo, I was expecting a tingly scalp and awesome smell. After using Root Awakening from the John Frieda collection, I found myself pleasantly surprised at the instant results in the health and shine of my hair.  Especially considering the price tag!  Plus, it has a pleasing, unobtrusive scent for sensitive noses.  I was so relieved to not find my hair not becoming oily or frizzy (a problem I have a lot!).  For the first time in months I have been getting a lot of compliments on my hair, everyone is telling me how healthy and shiny it is now!  I can't remember the last time my hair felt so soft and lightweight.

I'm very picky when it comes to choosing a shampoo. I have a silky,thin hair and I dye my hair once a month (roots only). I take very good care of my hair, but sometimes you just can't prevent things from happening. John Frieda Root Awakening shampoo and conditioner i all i will ever use.  this shampoo and conditioner line just recently came out and i am obsessed with it.  i feel such a difference in my hair when i get out of the shower.  my hair is so soft and 'light' feeling when i get out of the shower.  i also feel that when i blow dry and straighten my hair, i feel like my hair is not getting as fried as i feel like it used to when i used other brands of shampoo.  This shampoo is more expensive then other shampoos but it is definetly worth your money.  you will definetly feel the difference after...

John Frieda Root Awakening Shampoo was key in helping my hair grow back after a self-haircut that I kind of regretted doing. I chopped a lot of my hair off one evening, and after about 2 weeks of headbands, I decided to look for a product in the store that would help promote my hair health and (hopefully) make my hair grow faster.

While the Shampoo and conditioner in this line do not claim to stimulate hair growth per say, the bottle did say that it would feed the hair from the roots with vitamins and Eucalyptus for overall hair health.

I decided to go ahead (yes, being selfish I suppose) and try the Shampoo and Conditioner even though the kit I received is for Dry hair and my hair is more normal.  I thought the extra moisturizers that are probably in it may benefit my hair.

I recently received a sample of John Frieda's Root Awakening shampoo and conditioner.  It comes in three varieties:  health infusing, nourishing moisture, and strength restoring.  I used the strength restoring formula.
