John Frieda Roots shampoo is the best shampoo I have used to give great lift and volume AND keeps my hair smooth at the same time. If I want a shampoo that keeps hair smooth, I don't get the volume. With JF Roots shampoo I get both volume at the roots and smoothness on the rest of my hair - the best of both worlds. This shampoo does not weigh the hair down. It moisturizes,and keeps volume in your hair all at the same time all the while giving lift to the roots. I've tried other shampoos, but I keep coming back to John Frieda. Let's face it, the shampoo isle at my local pharmacy or discount store can be rather intimidating. There are so many brands, all claiming to do magical things to my hair. I have to admit that I have been lured in by specials and coupons. But alas, I always return to John Frieda products.
