I have really long, thick hair and it can be a mess to brush out after I wash it. It also gets really tangled throughout the day. Therefore, I started looking for different products to help me remove tangles from my hair. I remember my mom spraying products in my hair when I was little to help remove tangles. Therefore, I started hunting down a tangle removing spray. I think highly of this brand and so I decided to give their product a try. I have not been disappointed. This spray works great at softening my hair and making it more manageable to brush out. I spray it in my hair when I get out of the shower and let it sit for a minute. Then, I take a brush to my hair and brush it right out. It works wonders on helping my hair be smooth. I used to hate brushing my hair after a shower but this tangle removing spray makes it much easier. I would recommend this to anyone with long or thick hair. It works great!

I love John Frieda Root Awakening products. I started using them because I received a coupon to try it out for a reasonable price. I immediately loved the smell of the shampoo and conditioner; to me, it is a mix of eucalyptus and peppermint. There is something about the smell that makes me smile and I look forward to using it. I was glad to discover that the results I experienced with the shampoo and conditioner were as great as the smell was. The shampoo left my hair feeling clean without being stripped and the conditioner left my hair feeling moisturized with being heavy. Being that I have very curly hair, I sometimes have a hard time brushing or getting the tangles out, with the conditioner, I am able to brush my hair straight out of the shower without a problem. These products have an average price point; they aren't expensive, like most salon brand. Yet aren't cheap like some drug store brand. John Frieda Root Awakening products are definitely worth the investment.

I bought this product because it was on sale, smelled great, and I had never tried this before. Every time I washed my hair with the shampoo, it made me so happy because it smelled so good and my hair felt so clean and smooth. I wish I had bought the whole product line! Effectiveness My hair felt lighter, but still had body after using this product. Sometimes when I use products that claim to do a specific thing, I am skeptical. However, the Root Awakening products really do work and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a new and exciting hair product. Scent Before I buy a hair product, I always smell it first. Who wants weird smelling hair? Not me. That is why I loved Root Awakening so much because it smelled so incredible. Every time I washed my hair I was so happy that I bought this product and wished the bottle would never run out. I received a sample package of these John Frieda Root Awakening hair products. The sample package included shampoo, conditioner and a hair cream. (I'm sorry, I don't remember the exact name of the hair cream but it was quite nice.) When ever I receive samples of shampoos and conditioners I toss them in to a basket in my linen closet and save them either for when I'm out of shampoo and haven't run to the store yet for more, or for when I'm going away on a trip. In this case I must have been low on shampoo and conditioner because I used them at home. John Frieda's Root Awakening line of products is really great. I've used other John Frieda products in the past and have never been disappointed in them, but this set was particularly nice. The sample package also came with a coupon, which I promptly used to purchase more shampoo and conditioner when my samples ran out. I have since switched to Wen, which I love beyond reason which is the only reason I gave this a 4 rather than a 5. In my mind nothing can compare to Wen and since I could only rate Wen as a 5, I just can't rate any other shampoo as high. If for some reason I stopped using Wen in the future, John Frieda Root Awakening is definitely a brand I would consider going back to. Scent This wasn't as fruity as I usually like, but it does smell fresh and clean.

John Frieda Root Awakening Products didn't give me the results I was expecting. I found the shampoo and condition on sale and was so excited to try it. This was my first experience trying John Frieda products as they are usually a little too expensive for my budget. I felt like I was splurging but was quickly disappointed after I tried the products. I thought that, especially using both the shampoo and the conditioner, that my hair would look very full from the roots all the way down. It turned out to be just the opposite. It is a very heavy shampoo and conditioner and it weighted my hair down. It also made it look greasy much quicker than usual. I tried using just the conditioner with my regular shampoo but still got the same disappoint results. So thinking that maybe it was the conditioner that was too heavy, I tried just the shampoo with no conditioner. My hair looked bland and droopy. I was extremely disappointed with these products.

I have tried and have used the John Frieda Root Awakening products off and on for the last few years and I must say I have been impressed. The one product from the John Frieda Root Awakening product line is the smoothing hair serum. You put it on after you dry your hair or before and it leaves even the most unmanageable and frizzy hair smooth and straight and with no frizz. This is one product that does what it says it is supposed to do. I have always liked the John Frieda hair care line but I really love the hair serum. Another good thing about this John Frieda Root Awakening Hair Care line is that the prices are some what reasonable. The prices are not as expensive as salon products but are a little pricier than the average shampoos and conditioners. I will certainly recommend that all ifs friends and family try the John Frieda Root Awakening Hair care line. Another good thing is that it has a nice scent.

I have very thick and curly hair so finding any product that'll manage the madness is a task in itself. I really prefer to not spend alot on my hair because it turns out to be money down the drain ( literally ) and i'm never satisfied. All i want is what most women want, for my hair to feel and look soft and healthy, is that to much to ask? Well until using this line of products my answer would have been yes. First of all the smell is absolutely amazing, and is a treasure in and of itself. I find myself sniffing my hair through the day which is weird but also kinda great. My hair before these products would dry and my curls would look frizzy and all messed up. After using john frieda they are soft bouncy spiral curls that make me feel like a beautiful woman who loves her hair, not the old me who would throw it up in a pony tail because it felt dry, hopeless, and unmanageable. Thanks John Frieda, you saved my relationship with my hair.

I was having a lot of problems with my hair breaking. I admit my hair is abused with perms, hair dye, and at times, curling irons so I deserve my hair to be in bad condition. The eucalyptus used in these particular products, did awaken my roots...I can feel it every time I wash my hair! The Leave-in Conditioner helps my hair as well. I use the shampoo and conditioner in the Root Awakening and it smells divine. I just love the way it makes my hair feel and smell. I like all of the John Frieda products, but this line is my absolute favorite. There are always good sales and coupons which also makes this a good value for your money. I love the Root Awakening line of products and the way it makes my hair feel. I have frizzy/curly hair that really acts up in humidity and wet weather, and this product makes my hair calm down a bit yet still feel so soft and manageable. My only complaint is the price since it is a smaller amount of product for a bigger price than most shampoos. It works if there is a sale and/or a good coupon floating around. Effectiveness I love how it makes my hair feel and really does make is more "awake". A small dab and my hair looks and behaves better than with other shampoos and conditioners. Scent This product has a pleasant smell that is not overpowering. Sometimes I could catch a faint smell long after my hair was dry.
