I absolutely love John Frieda Frizz-Ease Hydrating Shampoo. It leaves my hair frizz free, soft, smooth, and straight. Also leaves it feeling super clean and light. It doesnt make your hair dull or oily. I will also recommend this to everyone. Also works best if followed with the same conditioner. The only bad thing is its a little pricy when you have a big family and lots of people using it.

This shampoo is great for dry damaged hair. This shampoo is quite nourishing. My hair is colored so it is prone to dryness and split ends. This shampoo is the remedy for it. Not only does it clean my hair it also is free of harsh chemicals that are found in other shampoos which strip the hair follicles of it's natural moisture. I love this product. It very affordable and it does not take much product to clean your hair, so this can last you a long time. I work out and I sweat a lot and we all know after a tough work out our hair needs to watched and nourished. I recommend this product to anyone who has dry hair and needs a shampoo that will not break the bank. The price point of this product is exceptional. In my opinion it is a great deal for what you get and what it does for your hair. This shampoo has a nice fresh smell and it is not over powering whatsoever. This product can be used all year round to take care of all your hair care needs.

This product is a miracle in a bottle! I suffer from frizzy, dry hair, like most ladies out there i was searching for a formula that actually worked! Well ladies here it is, you will be mind blown with this Shampoo. It has a nice creamy texture and it lathers really well so you don't need a lot of which means its going to last longer. The price is kind of expensive but it is really worth it if you want smooth, soft hair. I recommend to keep it in your hair for awhile for added benefits to smooth the hair. This shampoo really works wonders for any kind of hair too if you're looking for soft, smooth, shiny hair. This shampoo is also safe for colored hair. The only problem i have with it is if you stop using this product your hair will become frizzy again if you wash with something different. I recommend this product though if you're looking for a shampoo that really gets rid of the frizz.

I have not been too impressed with the John Freida Frizz-Ease line of shampoos. Honestly, I feel like their shampoos are overpriced and of average quality. Their Hydrating Shampoo isn't that great either. First off, this shampoo did absolutely nothing to reduce frizz. I could not discern a noticeable difference in the amount of frizz in my hair before and after using this. I am not quite sure how or why it claims to be a "frizz-ease" shampoo if it does not actually do so. To me, there should be noticeable difference. As far as effectiveness as a shampoo, it does do a good job of cleaning your hair. On the down side, it left my hair oily after the first day. Maybe that was due to the hydrating part of the shampoo. The John Frieda line is more expensive than the regular shampoo, and honestly for no good reason. I have used cheaper shampoos that worked better for me than this. If you have oily hair, I would not recommend using this shampoo.

I have very long, thick, frizzy hair, and I'm always looking for ways to help control it. John Frieda Fizz-Ease Hydrating Shampoo is a life saver when it comes to making my hair manageable. I use a little bit of this shampoo, and it keeps my hair clean all day long. It does not make my hair oily at all, and it keeps it looking shiny and healthy. I have color-treated hair as well, so the fact that this is gentle enough to use on my color-treated hair is important to me. It does not fade the color at all. Although this shampoo is a little on the expensive side, it is worth the price. It really does hydrate my hair, so it keeps it from getting too frizzy. When I use this shampoo, I don't really have to worry about straitening my hair. It keeps it straight throughout the entire day. This works really well even when it's very humid outside. I cannot imagine what my hair would look like without this shampoo! Scent This smells great and keeps my hair smelling nice all day long.

My hair is beyond thick and coarse so it has the tendency to be dry. I always use a lot of different products just to keep it looking healthy. I tried the John Frieda Frizz-Ease hydrating shampoo and it made my hair feel a lot healthier. I noticed my frizz and flyaways were tamed and my hair looked really shiny. It smoothes my hair adding hydration to every strand without weighing it down. It was very lightweight and I love how my hairs been feeling after each use. My hair has been a lot more manageable and easier to comb. It was very moisturizing to my spilt ends making it feel soft. It moisturizes my scalp without it feeling oily. I love the texture of this shampoo its really thick and it lathers well coating my hairs texture into feeling a lot stronger instead of feeling dry and brittle. My hair has been feeling silky and it feels so weightless. My hair has this natural bounce that just makes me feel confident in my hair. I really love this shampoo and I will continue to buy it.

Our household is full of thick, course, curly, dry, unruly hair. Finding a product that keeps these crazy manes in control is difficult but John Frieda has a pretty good product that handles our crazy hair. It is hydrating, rinses clean and leaves our curls bouncy, curly and really helps control the frizz, especially for the boys who do not want to take the time to use hair products after washing to help with styling. Effectiveness This shampoo really does help keep crazy hair under control. We do not live in a high humidity climate so I can not attest to it working on frizz in that weather but we have found that it keeps our curls bouncy and curly in dry weather. It moisturizes wonderfully in our cold extremely dry climate. My only complaint about this product is that the size of the tube/bottle is too small. We go through this small size quickly. It is expensive in the small size and I assume larger would make the price so high that most customers would not purchase. I would suggest they make a larger version in "salon" size with a discounted price. Scent There is no heavy perfume scent and not irritation that usually accompanies a lot of perfume. It is pleasant smelling and the men in the household don't feel like they smell too feminine.

I am usually one of those people who sticks with the same brand.  Its safe.  Especially when it comes to shampoos.  You don't know what is going to be good anymore.  I one day saw online there was a sample for John Frieda.  Sure his name was a familiar one.  I love beauty and fashion and read about it all the time.  But was it a gimmick?  I sent off for the sample thinking after I received it my hair would look average and it would look flat.  At this point I was looking for a new shampoo anyways.  I was not just shocked, but I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the John Frieda products.  I absolutely love the line.  I don't usually use hydrating products in my hair and this was a time I was able to use one.  My hair always has a lot of body and volume.  This time, though was a whole lot different.  I brushed my hair and I saw the results and got many compliments and looks.  Plus it smells really good as well.  I have nothing but praise for the John Frieda brand! I have been a loyal fan of the John Frieda brand for years - I used Brilliant Brunette shampoos and conditioners for 8 years, and when the line starting expanding recently I decided to test out more of the products. My dry winter hair needed a boost, and this shampoo fit the bill. I have to say I think that this conditioner is better than the moisturizing brilliant brunette option, as it seems to keep the hair lighter. Sometimes, the brilliant brunette equivalent feels like it's weighing my hair down. I never get that feeling with this shampoo! My hair feels so silky and smooth after I use this, it's pretty amazing! Try it, you will notice an immediate difference. I have also found that this product works especially well in combination with the conditioner of the line - I have written a separate review praising that product as well. Overall, for the price this shampoo can't be beat - I have used much more expensive products that have been much less effective.

Oh, I love John Frieda's Smooth Start Hydrating Shampoo! I accidentally stumbled on it several months ago - was on vacation, and ran out of the shampoo I had been using (Everpure). Stopped by a local drugstore, couldn't find the Everpure, this was on sale, and the rest is history. Been using it ever since, minus an ill-fated trial of Root Awakening. This cleans my hair so well, but still keeps it soft and smooth even before conditioner. Doesn't strip, removes residue, gentle on my color treated hair. I've noticed much less dry hair, and a significant decrease in frizziness and flyaways. This frizziness was really put to the test on the aforementioned vacation - we were in MD at the start of summer - several days of high temps and disgusting humidity - prior to using this product, my hair was a disaster on the trip - big, puffy frizzball - even with flat ironing. The scent is mild and pleasant. Lathers nicely, and you don't need much of the product - I get about 6 weeks from each tube - and that's with daily washing - and often twice daily washings if I've been in the pool. Excellent value, even when not on sale.
