Naturally curly hair is often envied by those who must endure the chemical process of artifically seeking curls, bur curly hair sometimes carries problems of its own.  Until I tried John Frieda Frizz-Ease Conditioner for Curly Hair I really thought my hair had an uncontrollable mind of its own!  After shampooing with great care and afterwards holding a mirror in which to seduce the back of my head to calm down by combing, teasing, and re-combing, I could get away with  "lookin' good" for the first few hours.  But curly hair loves humidity and before too long my short hair would roll itself up in little curls and pull away from my scalp causing what I only can describe as bald spots.  My hair-cutter called the condition "cow-licks", but giving it another name did not make me feel any different from what it looked like: BALD Spots.  Then I tried Frizz-Ease and my troubles disappeared.  John Frieda's Frizz-Ease taught my curls to behave.  My worries about being thought of as having bald spots are buried, and instead I display a lovely smile in response to compliments about my beautiful curls.

John Freida's Curl Around Style Starting Daily Conditioner in the Frizz Ease Collection is AMAZING!!!  I have super frizzy hair, and most hydrating brands don't help for long. I have been using this stuff for 2 bottles worth and i LOVE it! My hair is super soft, very manageable, and my curls are frizz free for days! this conditioner smells wonderful, like something you can only experience in a high end, expensive salon. it makes your hair soft and smooth after the first use, and the jojoba oil really smooths frizz. it also has silicone in it which pumps up and awakens natural curls and waves. I have definitely noticed a massive difference since i started using this product, and i would recommend this to anyone, and everyone, regardless of what type of hair they have.  The great thing about this product is that it is gentle enough for everyday use, and it is also safe for color-treated and chemically treated hair.

With really curly hair I always have a really hard time finding good shampoo and conditioners. John Frieda Frizz-Ease products have always been at the top of my list for quality. I just started to try this conditioner with int he last few weeks though. It makes my hair amazingly soft and shiny, and I can run a brush through it without pain, wripping hair and a lot of frizz! That is wonderful. The only large negative I find, why I can not give it 5 stars is that by the next day my hair is starting to get really greasy. I can not wash my hair daily (yes I shower daily) for fear of drying it out and it breaking off. Then my frizz is really out of control. I am not sure what I should/can do about this I want to have the ease of brushing, and the shine, and wonderful amazing lack of frizz but I do not want the greasy have to shampoo daily aspect of using the curl around conditioner. Right now I am just alternating it with other another conditioner.

If you've read any of my other reviews, you'll know that the John Frieda Collection of hair care products are average....they seem to do the same job as any of the other non-salon products, except that the other non-salon products are CHEAPER (sometimes by half!) John Frieda does fine...but it doesn't seem to justify it's hike up in price considering that the other cheaper products that neighbor it on the shelf do just as good a job. My advice is to go buy the products that are only sold in salons if you wanna see REAL results. You get what you pay for, so if you realy want your hair to look celebrity-gorgeous, buy what THEY BUY (well, maybe not QUITE so expensive, but buy salon products!) Alright, that said: I couldn't tell a difference  AT ALL with the John Frieda Frizz-Ease Curl Around Style Starting Daily Conditioner. I had dreams of me and my bouncy curly hair shining in the sun while frolicking through a meadow of spring flowers....only to have that dream shattered by the SAME hair I had before, still dry, still NOT bouncy, still frizzy.
