I have wavy hair, so this may be better suited to people with very curly hair, or at least with more pronounced curls than I have. It just didn't work for me. I'm always on the lookout for something to scrunch my hair with since I have a lot of natural waves but they need some definition and control, and often give products more than one chance (with different haircuts, etc.) This one, though, I'd never buy again. It didn't define my waves, but kind of just sat on my hair. It didn't really seem to do anything more than water does to boost the curl in my hair--the texture of this product is that viscous, it's very watery. The scent is okay, not as good as other John Frieda products. Definitely, definitely not worth the price for someone with wavy hair like me, maybe give it a try if you have defined curls. If you're looking for a John Frieda product to help out your curl, I would go with the curl boosting mousse.

i havefine hair that is so hard to curl. it usually takes the straightening iron and a whole bottle ofhairspray to get the look i want and thats too much product for me. i tried this after recieving a sample of it i just needed a little of hairspray with it and my fine hair went from flat straight and fine to bouncy shiny curls that had volume for a perfect evening look!

I have slightlly curly, thick hair which tends to be on the dry side due to coloring. I have been using Dream Curls as part of my styling routine and have never been happier! I have found it works better the damper my hair is, and if I use too much or on hair that has dried too much, it can make my hair too stiff/wet looking. I don't use a blow dryer much, maybe on the roots, and after my hair has completely air dried, I gently shake and scrunch my curls to eliminate any crunchy spots. I LOVE the definition I get and the superb way this product helps my curls be more defined and springy. It does cost a little more but is worth it.

If you have a lot of curls like I do and constinatly fighting frizz, or using products that will control frizz but you have to deal with your hair stiff, then this is the stuff for you! It has controlled my frizz, even in the rain, while enhancing my curls even more. It does not dry stiff or give you a wet look, and I am consistently able to run my fingers thru my hair without a problem. Not many products out there that you can do that. I've tried lots and lots. I simply jump out of the shower, towel dry my hair, sray it on, and I'm ready to leave

I love John Frieda product so when i found this on sale i decided to give it a try! I have naturally curly hair and am always looking for good product to use! This one works really well! I love the smell first off! All of their product smell so good! And it is great for on the go! And it tames down the frizziness big time! I would definetly recommend this product to others with curly hair! All you have to do is spray it on, scrunch a little and let it go! It gives you good soft curls opposed to a lot of other gets which give you a wet cruncy look! And it is not sticky like most curly hair products! And it really last a long time! I have had it for a while and used it alot but still have alot left! I really love it!

I made the mistake a few months ago to perm my stick straight hair. The perm took, but a little too well, and I ended up with a puffball on my head. The only way yo tame it was to gel it when it was wet, but then I had stiff curly hair. I ran out of gel and went to buy more, but decided to check The John Frieda Friss-Ease line first. I bought the *John Frieda Dream Curls Curl Perfecting Spray *to see if it would do what it really said. It does really work. I had nice waves without the frizz and it wasn't crispy to the touch. I have since then straightened my hair (most of the way), but still keep the spray on hand for the little curl left. I love this stuff, and it smells nice. One thing I did find was that the curls weren't the same from day to day. One day I'd have waves and the next I'd have spirals. That could have been my hair and not the product, or just how much or how little of it I used.

John Frieda Dream Curls Perfecting Spray is wonderful. I have semi-wavy hair that used to be really curly before my two childen. I starting using John Frieda Dream Curls Perfecting Spray about 3 months ago, and I have seen a huge difference. My hair is so much easier to do,and more importantly, the curls actually stay! Before, the curls would disappear by the end of the day, but with the Curl Perfecting Spray, they actually stay all day, and if I do need a refresher all I have to do is respray my hair and scrunch,and voila! perfect curls again. I would recommend this to anyone, even if their hair is not super curly, although I imagine it would work well for anyone with a little curl in their hair.

Having fought with my tightly wound, naturally curly hair my entire life, I have found the entire line of John Frieda products to be the solution to the problems that have plagued me, especially dryness and frizz. Some products do nothing but weigh down the hair and leave it looking flat. Other products have enhance my natural curls, but who wants crunchy curls? Having been quite satisfied with other products in the line, I thought I would give John Frieda Dream Curls Curl-Perfecting Spray a shot when I found it on sale at Ulta. After applying it to my damp hair, I could see the curls start springing as it dried, leaving me with a head of full, bouncy spirals without any signs of frizz, even on the ends. My hair also felt really soft to the touch, and better yet, the curls lasted all day long.

I have had natural curls since I was about fourteen years old. Since I started having babies, I've had two so far, my curls started becoming very different and I did not know how to manage it. I tried a couple different designer products and I did not like the results. I usually use a mousse and let my hair air dry or if I am feeling like doing a lot of work on it I will blow it dry. I even sometimes use a curling iron. Mousse works well for my hair right now for when I will actually curl it with a curling iron but it looks funky when I don't curl it with the curling iron. but when I want my hair to look more natural but contained I use the **John Frieda Dream Curls Curl Perfecting Spray**. It works wonders! It allows my curls to show but not allow my fro to completely take over. It doesn't give my hair a 'crusty' look either, like mousse does when I allow it to air dry. It also does not make my hair feel or look sticky which is a great bonus too!

I first discovered John Frieda's Dream Curls Curl Perfecting Spray a few years ago.  I was done with using gels and mouses' to give my curls definition.  They only seemed to make my hair feel weighed down and gooey.  This spray is very light and has a very pleasant scent.  It is not over-powering at all.  Typically I will brush my hair out with a comb right after exiting the shower, do a little towel drying, scrunch my hair with my hands, shake the Curl Perfecting Spray as instructed, spray it all over my curls, scrunch again (rinse my hands), spray on just a touch of whatever brand of flexible hold hairspray, and then use a diffuser on my hairdryer to dry my hair.  I don't blow dry my hair totally dry -- not that it would get too frizzy if I did -- this product eliminates the Frizz I'd get otherwise.  It just leaves my curls a little more defined if I don't go overboard on the blow drying.  I have tried a few other curl sprays but always come back to this one.  It's nice too that John Frieda offers a lot of coupons -- so its easy to save on this product as well!
