John Frieda Brilliant Brunette Shampoo is incredible for your hair IF you are a brunette. The Shampoo brings out the natural highlights in your hair and leaves it shiny. If you like silky smooth hair, this is the shampoo for you! The smell is very subtle and not overwhelming like most. I've used John Frieda products for a number of years, at first because of their "no-frizz" promise.  Recently I started using "brilliant brunette" from the John Frieda Collection and it is another of their excellent products.  I love buying a shampoo that is specifically for my natural hair color -- and also for color-treated brunette hair.  John Frieda products are reasonably priced but a high quality product that can be purchased for a reasonable price at most stores.  I usually manage to find it on special when I am running low so it is not too hard on my pocketbook.  The "Shine Release...

I have tried every shampoo under the sun, from cheap to expensive and never been satisfied.  My sister in law uses the blond version of this shampoo and has done so for years and been very happy with it.  I thought I would give the brunette a try.  The appeal to me was that it did not deposit color as some brands do, as this make towels etc stain and your clothes if you leave the house with wet hair.  The smell is that of a hawaiian vacation - coconuts, but not too much, just suttle, and I love the creamy texture it has.

I can actually see the results of the natural highlight adding in the formula on my non-color treated hair! I started using John Freida Brillant Brunette several months ago. I follow up with the Brilliant Brunette conditioner. It helps my hair to be soft, shiny, and keeps my signature brunette color from fading. My hair is color treated, and Brilliant Brunette keeps that color strong. I absolutely love it. It's also inexpensive and can be found at any store that sells shampoos. There are often buy one get one free sales, which helps to save me even more money. John Frieda is a bit pricy by comparison to other hair products. I bought John Frieda's Brilliant Brunette when I had a coupon and was very satisfied with the product. My hair is dyed and it helped me retaing a rich brown color and also made my hair very shiny. However, it is in a small tube and I seemed to run out faster than I do with other shampoos and conditioners. I would still recommend it but would suggest waiting until you get a coupon or it is on sale since it is expensive and does not last that long.

I love brilliant brunette products. I would use them all the time if they weren't so darn expensive. They work really well and smell so nice. I used to have money for that kind of stuff before having kids, but now I can only get it when there's a good coupon out for it. I know on their website you can request a sample and they will send you a coupon with it too for $1 off. I wish the bottles were bigger for the price. Overall I consider it a luxury item, but I sure do love it. You should try it if you haven't.

I've tried many hair products over the years and have spent countless dollars trying to find a shampoo that will help maintain my color treatment while leaving my very soft and manageable.  I also have thinning hair and this shampoo helps increase the volume -- it really seems to make a difference.  I would recommend this shampoo to anyone with color treated hair or those with fine or thinning hair for added volume.

John Frieda Brilliant Brunette Shampoos and Conditioners are excellent. My hair is always shiny and clean. I get a lot of compliments daily on how beautiful my hair is and how shiny it is.

Okay so I'm not a real brunette but I still love this shampoo. Leaves hair clean, soft and smells great -- like hot chocolate in a shampoo bottle!

color did not last very long started fading within a week. Overall grey coverage was lacking. Good scent but color did not last long enough
