My dad bought a couple of these for his lawn business and they have saved us A LOT of time! Temperatures here get up to the high 90s and very humid. This law mower allows us to cut quite a few acres perfectly in less than an hour. Start up is easy. Maintenance is minimum. The speeds allow you to set the pace at which you want to cut. The cut precision is outstanding and the lawn mower itself is quite easy to guide (not hard to turn the wheel). One of our most important points is how easy it is to transport. We can push it or ride it onto a tractor trailor very easily. They also are very wonderful in lawn mower races (we live in the country lol). My only small complaint is the seat adjustment. I am barely 5'2" and I have to scoot forward a bit because the seat doesn't adjust as far as I need it to. John Deere makes very reliable, durable products. This one definitely holds up to their standards.

We have had this tractor for about 14 months. My husband uses it for all things he does out side. With a small trailer attafched he moves things from one side of the yard to the other. We have an acre of land, and it will mow this in about an hour without stopping. He loves his John Deere.  My husband said he willnever own another brand in his life again.  He even talked the neighbor into buying one.  When we go to a sales store where they are sold, he will talk to strangers about how reliable and good they are.  You would think he is like a little boy looking at his first christmas present the way he stares at his.  Wipes it down when he is through and washes it down.  Sometimes I think he would save the John Deere in the fire instead of me.  Don't want to find out for sure.  HA HA

**We were pleasantly satisfied with the quality and durability of the john deere riding lawn mower. We bought an automatic and were not sure how it would handle our very sloping ground of about 2+ acres of mowed lawn area. It has done very well. We are so pleased with it.  Its good on fuel and not as loud as some of the other brands. And the automatic is much more comfortable to operate. Although we had to disconnect the button you are supposed to push to operate in reverse, it is much easier without it. **
