When I used to think of John Deere, I thought of something tough and extremely durable, almost unstoppable! But I have learned different with the riding lawn mower we now own. I know there are tougher, more powerful models for John Deere, but I am surprised it is needed for my lawn-it seems to me any John Deere model should do for the tasks needed. My lawn can be challenging-its not flat and there are many different terrains and cuts necessary, but this mower is forever getting stuck, or not able to make a turn, or simply stopping on an incline, not able to get up any further on a slope that isn't even steep. It has poor traction and spins, and thankfully, we purchased a warranttee, because there is always something wrong with it! I'm not giving up on the brand, but I'm disappointed.
