If all history were taught this way, kids would learn more.

Pros

    Based on Pulitzer prize winning book, Excellent script and dialogue, Intimate look at historical figures, Paul Giamatti and Laura Linney

True to the book. Could have explained Adams's and Jefferson's falling out a little better, but all-in-all, a terrific portrayal of the times surrounding our war for independence and the founding of our country. Does a much better job of explaining history than those boring "name and date and moving-right-along" history books we teach our kids from. Lets us know that the founding fathers were real people with flaws and families, and that they were individuals, never all of one mind.
