Jodi Picoult - My Sister's Keeper —
I would recommend this book to anyone in a heartbeat!! Jodi Picoult writes about difficult issues, so make sure that you have some tissues nearby. She is one of my favorite authors, so I would recommend every one of her books. The characters in her books seem to come to life, so it feels as if you are actually reading about someone you personally know.
