Jockey French Cut Brief Women's Underwear Review

I have purchased and used a specific woman's panty since the late 1980s.  I find something I like and I stick with it.  I'm not looking to be a trend setter or a trend follower.  I'm looking for practical items that make me comfortable at a reasonable price.

I prefer things to last and last.  I'm opposed to our "disposable world" where it seems every business has thrown quality & value of a brand name out the window; and is now looking at how to re-sell more goods instead of how to make a lasting item of quality.

I still have some Women's Jockey French Cut Briefs (in both solids & prints) from over 15yrs ago.  They don't fit.  But have never dry rotted and the fabric is of quality with elastic in excellent condition. 

In the interim, I have had to purchase some larger sizes over the past 12yrs and I have noticed that the thickness of the fabric is NOT the old standards, nor is the stitching quality.

The NOW Jockey underwear has thinner, faster wearing fabric.  I experience pinholes, fabric wearing & bearing elastic, elastic stretching & not re-bounding, seems coming loose, etc.   I have written to Jockey on more than one occassion, and while they have graciously shipped me replacement panties OR coupons . . . . it's just not the same as CORRECTING this inferior production & product issue.

I HAVE noticed that when the product started being manufacturered or even just assembled OUTSIDE the U.S. is when all this started occurring.

I'm pleased that the Prices have not increased drastically, as other products we buy.  Normally, 3 pr for $21 regularly priced at JC Penney stores.  And sometimes can be caught On Sale 3pr for $18.  And of course, I'm using my JC Penney Customer Privileges of an add'l 15% Off whenever possible.

But I would pay a buck or so more per pair if my panties would last more than just 3 months.  I'm really feeling like I'm NOT getting my monies worth anymore and may start to venture into other purchase areas for this type item.
