I like to buy different brands on many food items, but I stick with Jif for peanut butter. I tried various brands back in college (when money was tight) and discovered why they say, "Choosy moms choose Jif." Well, everyone called me the "choosy mother" when I insisted on Jif in college. I have tried many brands of peanut butter and have decided that the best brand is Jiff. The best part is opening a new jar, the fresh peanut aroma and the taste in that first bite is worth the price of the whole jar. Other brands are okay to bake with if they are on sale really cheap, but if I just want a peanut butter sandwich, there is no substitute. Skippy and Peter Pan both have way too much sugar, and most of the store brands I've tried are either bland or too stiff to spread easily. Jif Peanut Butter is the best!  I remember my mom using it for my sibilings and I when we were kids!  I still eat it and so do my kids!  It's so rich and creamy and easy to spread on the bread. we also like it with crackers, and apples.  I use it to make peanut butter cookies and other desserts.  Whenever anyone asks me what kind of peanut butter I use I very proudly tell them Jif!  The price is good to it's not to much, and I know the quality is great so even if the price went up I would still buy it. —… read full review »

I never had any sandwich but peanut butter in my lunch during elementary school, and my mother never used any peanut butter but Jif. She makes me make my own sandwiches now, but I still used the same creamy Jif that she did. — Jif is bursting with peanut flavor, and just the right texture.
