I'm 54 and all gray, but this shampoo has given me a beautiful color gray...no yellow! Glad to stop the hair coloring treadmill! I have short hair and am glad to have nice looking gray hair. I've received many more compliments since I started using this shampoo. Effectiveness It definitely took the yellow out of my gray hair, and it also feels softer. Scent I don't think that it has any smell.
