I have a love affair with wristwatches. When I was a little kid the best gift I got was a watch, when I was about five. I have loved them ever since. — — I own a Breitling, a Tag-Heuer, a Rolex, a couple of different Timexes, a couple of different Seikos and a handful of unique timepieces. One of my favorites is an old "Rock Clock" that has a stone face. Engraved into the face is a silouette of Wile E. Coyote; as if he had smashed into the rock at the bottom of a ravine. To the PointI was buying quite a few items from QVC. When Diamonique 1.75 carat total weight Inscribed Love Ring, 14K went on the screen I went to the website to look at it a bit more. $198.00 is more than I've ever spent at QVC but this just looked beautiful. I recently attended a Silpada Party and fell in love with the jewelry.Thinking that maybe since its a little pricy that it is quality. Boy was I wrong . I was so excited when I received my braclet in the mail today. I wore it around all day and before I went to bed I went to take it off and it broke into pieces right before my eyes. I could not belive it . I am still in aawww. It didn't even last 8 hours. I have costume jewelry ,bought at inexpensive stores in the mall that have lasted years. Lucky me.. I have TWO family members that sell this VERY PRICEY JUNK! I have been trying to boycot this stuff. I refuse to have a party. Everytime I see one of these ladies I feel as though I HAVE TO BUY something but this stuff is way way overpriced. I have seen most of the collection and it looks really cheesey. As far as I am concerned no woman of class would wear this. Just because it is expensive doesn't make it good. Please keep this in mind when purchasing any item. My mom purchased a diamond and sapphire bracelet for me for my wedding and it meant the world to me. Almost one month to the day I lost the bracelet because it BROKE and fell off my wrist without me knowing it. The company will not stand behind their merchandise if you don't have something to return to them.
