I'm not someone who travels much.  This isn't necessarily by choice, mind you, just that I seem to prefer to have my fun all year round rather than trying to pound as much as possible into a week or ten days. — Until this past January, I hadn't been on an airplane since 5th grade (I'm… read full review »

Having been a Southwest Airlines traveler for years, I had sort of forgotten about assigned seating and "regular" airline travel. My family (sister, mom and 5 kids all together) flew in August, 2007, from Las Vegas to Long Beach, California for a cruise. Our airfare was very reasonable ($100 RT)… read full review »

I don't fly that much (3 - 4) times a year but when I do I fly Jet Blue.  About a year ago they got a lot of bad press here in the Metro New York City (NYC) area with a storm.  Unlike most companies that make mistakes they issued an apology and inaugurated a flier's bill of rights which diluted most of the bad press. Here in the NYC area they fly from all four (that's four) major airports: JFK, LaGuardia, Newark and the latest airport now run the by the Port Authority of New York - Newburg but what most New Yorkers still refer to as Stewart from the time it was the Stewart Air Force… read full review »

I have flown JetBlue twice now. Not only are the folks who work at the airline extremely accommodating but you can't help but notice that they are friendly and seem to really like their jobs. My only complaint is that they don't fly to enough destinations. If they did, I would take my son with me in a heart-beat because hands-down this has to be the most friendly airline around and from what I saw, they are so eager to please everyone including kids! And if the kids are happy, then everyone is happy! — Their inflight snacks, including the "blue" tortilla chips are great and clever. The… read full review »

I had first flown on Jetblue a year ago on a cross country trip.  I had always steared clear of this Airline because to me their cheap fares meant cheap service.  When I boarded my flight from Washington, DC to Long Beach, CA I wasn't all that sure what to expect.  — — The boarding time and customer service is comparable to any other airline.  Yet, once the flight was well underway was when JetBlue became the elite in the industry.  The staff was the friendlist that I have ever expierenced from any other carrier.  The choices of snacks was plentiful… read full review »

Recently used Jet Blue for a flight from Boston to Seattle. It was the cheapest flight I could find, but was also DIRECT - no stops - layovers- perfect!  We landed at our destinations on time or ahead of schedule. Sure, they only serve snacks & drinks on-board, but we brought subs on the flight going out and had a red eye coming home so had dinner before hand. — Drinks are available multiple times during the flight and alcohol is available for a fee. — We sat in the front of the plane and had ample leg room. A traveling companion who almost never is able to sleep on planes… read full review »

JetBlue has gotten a lot of negative publicity but they have handled the situation well and responded to passenger complaints positively.  Nevetherless, I will always fly JetBlue. — — Their mileage program is I think quite generous and combined with their credit card, I am able to get a free ticket about once every 8 months (I travel cross-country about twice a year). — — The seats are comfortable eventhough I dont like leather. the TV system is great and I like that you dont have to pay for the headphones.  — — The only problem is that their… read full review »

I fly all the time for work and for pleasure. I started using JetBlue a few years ago for my cross-continental trips and fell in love. The snacks are great, the planes are comfortable, and hey, you can watch TV! Then I decided to use them for shorter trips...between NYC and Chicago. Awful, awful! They book their flights so close together that they can rarely make the turnaround. Every time i've flown them on this route, there has been a delay of at least 1.5 hours. I think they just have unrealistic expectations of everything working competely as planned. If one minor detail is affected,… read full review »

I flew on Jet Blue this summer with a group of teachers. I had heard a lot of bad things about Jet Blue and was hesistant to fly with them. The flight was booked through a trip coordinator so I had no day in the matter. — I was so pleased with the service, the plane and the flight in general I would love to fly Jet Blue whenever possible. There was a wide variety of snacks to choose from and the flight attendants were very efficient. — I also loved the fact that there was a TV in every seat with satellite television. Also accessablility to XM radio. This made the flight… read full review »

My family loves Jet Blue.  It leaves from our medium sized hometown and we don't have to go to the "big airport".  Direct flights to NYC, DC, SFO and other interesting places.   The kids love the TV screen in every seat with direct TV shows.  This is a special treat as we do not have cable.  The flight attendants are very friendly and helpful.  One even picked up a crying baby (with permission from his mom) and walked him back and forth until he was asleep.  We have flown Jet Blue multiple times without any problems or delays.  We choose Jet Blue… read full review »

I fly Jet Blue between Pittsburgh & Boston to visit my daughter & son-in-law. I wish I could fly Jet Blue when I go on business trips to other parts of the country. Jet Blue is comfortable, affordable, and relaxing. The flight attendants are actually attentive, unlike some other airlines I've flown on. They let you have a full can of soda, and they smile & crack jokes. The blue tortilla chips are fun! When I'm shopping for an airline ticket, I always check Jet Blue, first, to see whether they fly to my destination. If not, then I check everybody else and take the cheapest ticket I can… read full review »

Although my husband and I weren't thrilled with Jet Blue airlines, we enjoyed the free sattelite television for the long flight.  For five dollars, they also had a good movie selection, and I was pleasantly surprised that I was able to watch an indie flick.  — For a good part of one flight however, the sattelite tv kept going out on my screen only.  That was very frustrating and there wasn't anything the airline could do about it.  — JetBlue also had a good selection of snacks which was varied and included some healthy snacks which is important to me. —… read full review »

i'm hooked when it comes to traveling jet blue. i love the leg room. everyone is treated as if they are flying first class. you have your own t.v. and unlimited amount's of drink's and snack's. my family and i just flew to c.t. and we go out of our way to travel with jet blue. we could fly into hartford or providence, but we fly into n.y. because that's where the nearest jet blue terminal is. it would be nice if they did fly into hartford, but until they do we go to n.y. keep up the awesome work jetblue. you have a loyal customer forever. — joann gauthier —… read full review »

Jet Blue is affordable and offers seat assignments unlike the other affordable carrier that services the New York area. You get more leg room your own TV and a bag of Blue chips for half the price of the older carriers. One day all their passengers got to sit in the plane on the ramp all day and all the flights were cancelled the next day. Hopefully they have learned from this. They assign you a seat on flights that rarely get cancelled and rarely lose your luggage for half the price of the other carriers and entertain you to… read full review »
