Here in the NYC area they fly from all four (that's four) major airports: JFK, LaGuardia, Newark and the latest airport now run the by the Port Authority of New York - Newburg but what most New Yorkers still refer to as Stewart from the time it was the Stewart Air Force Base. It's listed as Newburg (SWF) on the Jet Blue web site.
My own experience with them (mostly at JFK) has been great: on-line reservations, on-line selection of seats, quick check-ins and helpful staff. The flights, for the most part, have been on time but actually sometimes they are early or if the flight leaves late the time is made up in the air. Remember, that a plane can't arrive at any old time it feels like. There is a schedule. There are other flights but in flight the crew does keep you informed.
The Direct-TV embedded into the back of seat in front of you is not only entertaining but informative: news, sports, real-time flight information and movies (for a fee).
If you're not a true blue member sign up. Take enough flights (not mileage) and you can earn a free flight.
The last item is that the Terra Blue Chips are addictive. Ask for two packages.
