Jet Blue Airways Review

JB is NOT always the cheapest, but the seats are the best.....I WAS disappointed that the DirectTV doesnt always work (over water, which means most of the flight to Aruba.) 

The new Terminal at JFK is the best airline terminal for seats/service/restos.  

On the negative side, JB doesnt have agreements with all airlines so if you are on JB and switching to another airline (hasnt happened yet) you MAY have to collect your suitcases to recheck.

I got the Amex JET BLUE card and signed up for the JB rewards program.  Its easy to get free tickets.  I flew to Mexico for free (I did pay for the EML seats and tax) in Dec 08 and had enough points to fly to Arizona for free over Memorial Day weekend.  They are GREAT about giving you the credit to your JB account if the fare drops.

The cabin attendants have always been really friendly (especially on my last PHX-JFK flight when I had issues - had one bad AA DFW-LGA experience last year on a REALLY bumpy flight) and had issues flying ever since.  The female cabin attendant on the PHX-JFK took care of me....and even made a comment when I deplaned that "you did a great job".

And when you CALL them.....I remember one of the first times....and I didnt know JB - said something about First Class...and the operator said "Oh, honey, they're all first class."

Jet Blue offices in Queens, NY are actually very close to me.  I would LOVE TO WORK FOR THEM.

Changes I would make: 

-improve the snacks...not very healthy.

-Dont charge for movies (normally $5) when the DirectTV doesnt work.

Disappointed:

- their flights JFK-CUN are great timing.  The return flight - not so much.  It leaves around NOON.  I wish that flight were a little later...then I would have used JB for my Sept 18-28 trip to Mexico.  Now I'm on AA and if I cancel.......I'm up the creek.
