Pros

no allergies yet, metallic, rich pigmentation, can be used sheerly or heavily, EXCELLENT price, high quality, VERY unique color combo, goes on beautifully with damp brush, great staying power

I was wandering through Rite Aid not really expecting to find anything last week when lo and behold I stumbled upon a collection of swirly mineralized eyeshadows similar to the MAC Mineralized Eyeshadows that many know and love.

However, I know that many of the drugstore knock offs of these things are awful to use and not worth a cent. At the clearance price of $2.50 I was willing to try, however.

WHAT IS JESSES GIRL COLOR MY WORLD EYESHADOW IN EVERGREEN LIKE?

Jesse's Girl Color My World Eyeshadow in Evergreen is one of the most beautiful combinations I have ever seen in all of the mineralized eyeshadows so far. The color is a dark turquoise swirled with a bronzey gold and champagne gold color shadow- in a domed pad that resembles the photos of the earth that are seen often.

There is 5grams of product in the domed shaped shadow which has a jeweled looking clear top on it. The package comes with a clear plastic bag and a shadow applicator in the bag with it.

The texture is at first a lot grainier than most of the buttery soft mineralized shadows are from MAC, but when applying them over a good grabbing base such as Too Faced Shadow Insurance or Urban Decay Primer Potion, this applies very nicely.

It can be used sheerly or built up to a gorgeous - I mean GORGEOUS aqua/gold metallic appearance that is breathtaking.

HOW WELL DOES EVERGREEN COLOR MY WORLD EYESHADOW WEAR?

I am very surprised at how well JESSES GIRL EVERGREEN COLOR MY WORLD EYESHADOW wears. When applied dry, it is quite sheer, but when applied over a grabbing base or with a damp brush, the effect is very metallic and beautiful. The shadow wears quite well as long as there is not any water on the eyes.

It looks exquisite with MAC Delphic (aqua with gold shimmer)Fluidliner under it as a base and Frostlite Fluidliner (white with gold shimmer) underneath.

Despite it staying on well, EVERGREEN COLOR MY WORLD EYESHADOW comes off easily with makeup remover or soap and water.

COMMENTS

I can not gush about this eyeshadow enough. The color is very unique- the metallic quality of it makes it not like anything else I have in my extensive eyeshadow and pigment collection. The quality is just as good as MAC mineralized eyeshadows and the price at $5 retail is a bargain, in my opinion.

I am not sure why Rite Aid is clearancing these out, as they would make a gorgeous holiday and winter shadow, but get them if you can near you.

I am including some photos for you to see. All of the turquoise swatches are Jesse's Girl Evergreen Color My World Eyeshadow. The lightest one was applied lightly with no base. The others were applied with a damp brush.
