Every now and then when I come across a new product that claims to help with cellulite, I will try it. I have a small amount of cellulite on the back of my legs. It's not a big deal really, but I still wouldn't mind getting rid of it. I expected this lotion to be just like the rest of jergens lotion, plain and boring. However, I hoped that it helped with cellulite. I don't mind jergens lotion, but it seems like none of have a appealing scent and I am now convinced that they are all exactly the same, despite their claims. This lotion helps moisturize pretty good, but if you have super dry skin, I would recommend trying a better kind. This lotion did not help my cellulite at all, but I really don't think any lotion will. Getting a tan, eating less fat and more exercise will help your cellulite problem a lot more then this lotion. The price on this I would say is average and the bottles are a good size. It does absorb well and doesn't feel greasy. Just don't expect any kind of jergens lotion to work wonders. I have tried them all and they are just ok, nothing special.

I have to say that my hubby and I have probably tried every version of Jergens that they sell. And it seems that they come out with a new version every year. Skin Smoothing Cellular Renewal Body Moisturizer is a complicated title for what I consider to be a typical Jergens moisturizer. I'm not saying it's bad. In fact, like the other Jergens varieties, this one does an effective job of keeping skin soft and smooth. Used daily--or nightly in my case--Jergens keeps my skin moisturized and supple until it's time to start the routine all over again. Plus, the pump is sturdy and easy to use. I've never experienced it clogging up, leaking, or breaking. I do find that Jergens Skin Smoothing is nice and thick, but can take a little time to fully absorb. I do seem to rub, rub, rub before it soaks into my skin all the way. But once it does, my skin feels like it has a protective barrier that is slightly silky, but never sticky. On the whole, I do recommend Jergens Skin Smoothing. Obviously, we have no way of knowing if our skin cells are truly being renewed or if that's just marketing hype. But if they are, I guess that's a good thing.

I tried the Jergens Skin Smoothing lotion because I have cellulite on the backs on my thighs. I'm a healthy weight, work out several times a week, drink plenty of water, etc., but I still get those annoying little lumps! Anyway, I've tried several different "smoothing" products over the years and none of them have worked for me, so I wasn't particularly surprised. I do like the Jergens better than others I've tried because it doesn't have a weird slick feeling (many of the others do) and works very well as a regular lotion. Effectiveness It didn't do much for me as a cellulite smoother, but it worked well as a regular lotion. I used to work outside, even during the winter, and it kept my skin from becoming too try. Ease of Application It goes on well without the funny slick feeling that many anti-cellulite lotions have. It was also a nice consistency - not so thick it felt like a cream, but not thin and runny, either. Scent The scent is a little strong for me, but it isn't unpleasant.

I love Jergens products, so when I saw Jergens Skin Smoothing Cellular Renewal Body Moisturizer on the store shelf, I had to buy it and give it a try. I found the cost to be slightly higher than other products in the same category, but not as expensive as top name brands. I like how the pump dispenser is designed with the screw down locking device. This makes it very easy to pack this moisturizer in your toiletry bag and not have to worry about leakage of moisturizer all over everything. This moisturizer has a medium scent to me and in the summertime it can be a little stronger than I like. It applies fairly easily to the skin. It does provide moisturizing, makes my skin look fresh, glowing and radiant, but I didn't notice any changes that one would not get from using any other moisturizer at a lower cost. If there was any cellular renewal happening, it was under the skin and not visible to the naked eye.

I really love Jergen's hand lotion products. My grandma always used Jergen's so the scent reminds me of her. The scent reminds me of a walking in to her house. She passed away a few years ago, so anything that reminds me of her is always nice. I also like the price of Jergen's lotions. They're one of the lower priced brands out there, but they still work well. They've been around forever, if their products didn't work well I don't think the company would have lasted this long. When I purchased this Jergen's Skin Smoothing Cellular Renewal Body Moisturizer I was looking for something better than bargain basement cheapie lotion, but I also wasn't looking to spend an arm and a leg. Since I like Jergen's hand lotion and I like the Cherry Almond scent most of their lotions have, I decided to go with this one. I know the "Smoothing Cellular Renewal" seems like a tall order and since I'm not looking at my skin cells under a microscope, I'm not sure this lotion actually renews anything at the cellular level, but it did make my skin feel soft. Ease of Application It's lotion. Application isn't exactly rocket science. It's not any harder or any easier to apply than any other lotion I've used. Scent Love the scent!
