My best friend from Detroit, Goldie, recommended this stuff to me about a month ago. As I got a wax (no need to go into too many details here) at Spa Ariel, the gal that was working on me also mentioned Jergens Natural Glow. I love this product!

Well, I originally tried this product several months ago and as I am not a very good tanner (I burn, but mostly just stay ghostly WHITE all year round), I absolutely loved the results. Plus, it is good for my skin, as opposed to tanning in the sun or on a bed. However, just this past week, I tried this product with the added feature of FIRMING, which is awesome for a woman of my age (34). Yeach. This stuff not only rubs off as soon as it dries, but it smells like sweat. NOT A GOOD COMBINATION. The tanning affects were great if you didn't rub up against anything. I have always been a fan of Jergens products and this product is no exception. I bought this over the summer so that I could enjoy the same healthy glow as my friends without the damage of the sun. I don't like the over tanned look, so I wanted something suttle to just add a little color to my pale cheeks. After my shower, I rubbed down with a towel to make sure that I was exfoliated and dry. The worst gradual self tanner out there!

I am very fair skinned. I NEVER tan. I burn very easily and after the burn fades, I have a very subtle darkening in skin color and that's it. If I go out in the sun again, I burn even worse and there is NO change in skin color afterwards. — I have also had some bad experiences with self tanners - as have we all! As soon as I heard about this product I ran to the store to try it. I am always looking for ways to make myself darker without resorting to a tanning bed. I am not too fond of self tanners because even though they claim they don't streak or stain clothes I am always ending up with stained clothes or streaky skin the color of an ommpa loompa. I hate getting older! I wish I could go out in the sun and get a really great tan and have NO issues! Life's tough! I came across Jergens a while ago. For me - it took about 8 to 10 days to get a nice "warm" look. I also had to learn the best times to apply - which for me was at night - so that I could "dry" longer. The container states a few minutes - but really you need about 30! It can stain your clothes as well as your sheets and pillowcases - if you are not careful! I love self tanners and this year i'm really into the gradual tan thing, but I'm not to thrilled about Jergens version of it.... I used Sublime Glow by Loreal [the lotion, not the spray] and I loved it, however it's $10 and when I went to Target to get a refill I saw that Jergens was on Clearance for $5 [that should have been my first clue] I'm fairly light, but I wanted results sooner then if I were to pick the "fair" tone, so I bought the Medium.... it made me orange, it's stinks, it's streaky, it stained my clothing, and it wasn't very moisturizing....more sticky then anything...Sublime… read full review »

I have always been an avid user of self-tanners and this moisturizer has saved me time and stained clothes! My skin tends to get really dry, especially during the winter so I use the Jergens lotion everyday. It definately keeps my tan going year-round. The only problem I found was the slight staining around the ankle and wrists, and that's with exfoliation. Also, the smell could be better, but so many people use the product they recognize the scent too! I love Jergens' products as a general rule but found that despite the promises, this product didn't work for me at all! I liked the idea of applying a subtle tanning product that was also a moisturizing lotion. I even stayed with this product through the use of three tubes plus one tube of the similar face product. The end result? Nothing! Nada! Zilch! I did feel like the product added a nice, healthy glow to my skin, just no color enhancement at all. The first time I tried this product I didn't see much difference but a little. The next time I tried it was after tanning in a tanning bed. I really like this product. It has just a hint of tanner and it's enough to give you a suttle tan. You don't have to worry about streaks or an orange tint to it.
