In our family, we usually use bar soap and are continually looking for new soap with good price tags to try. I have used Jergens bath soap for many years. I love how inexpensive this bar soap is. I also love how mild the scent is. There are other bar soaps out there that have such a strong scent that it is sometimes embarrassing to go into a public setting with that scent all over me, but not with Jergens. I love that I get thoroughly clean while smelling subtle, not overpowering. I feel like the soap itself does an excellent job at cleaning without being too harsh. I am even able to use it on my face- it is that mild on the skin. The one negative aspect about this soap is how easily the soap can be used up. I let my five year old son shower by himself, and he takes about 10 minute showers. He is very thorough at cleaning himself, and likes to use his soap. By the time he is done with the soap, about half of the soap has been used up. Also, it is easily dented or damaged so if you drop it it will chip or severely dent the soap. I just find it odd how easy the soap gets worn down during a shower.

Jergens Bath Soap is one of my favorites, I just love, love and love it!  I couldn't fit love, love, love into the tag line, because I ran out of room.  Anyway, I think you get the message.  I find Jergens Bath Soap to be a step above most of the rest.  It will keep you fresh and clean.  One of the things I like best about this product is the smell.  There is no other soap, in my opinion, that smells like it.  The smell to me is perfect.  The smell is on the feminine side, meaning I think that it smells a little flowery.  Whether it is feminine smelling or not, it's a great product.  I also love this product because it doesn't dry out your skin; at least it doesn't dry out mine.  I also love the fact that it doesn't irritate my skin either.  Some soaps irritate my skin because I scratch, scratch and scratch and that can be "Oh, so annoying".  This soap lathers, lathers and lathers, especially if you have a sponge or scrub brush.  I think the size of the bars are perfect as well.  They aren't too small and they aren't too big.  The pretty color of them and the detailing on the soap is lovely as well.  The packaging is simple but beautiful too.  But that's not all, this soap is "in-expensive" for the marvelous way it works, especially if you get it on sale.  Well, you already know I give this product "5 STARS", but If I were to rate "Jergen's Bath Soap" on a scale of "1-10", I'd have to give it a "10".  It gets a "10", because for a soap, it's perfect!

Our family of three has three different skin types. My husband has dry skin, mine is normal, and my son has oily skin. It is hard to find a soap that we can all use, but I am glad I have found that with Jergens. It has a scent that the men are ok with, and I am too. They don't smell like a woman and I don't smell like a man. It does not dry out my husband's skin, and it does not make my son's oily skin break out in more acne. It is reasonably priced and was once a Consumer Reports Best Buy. After using it, I agree with them. I try other soaps occasionally, but always end up buying the Jergens again, It is a tried and true product for the whole family. I have been using it for over 25 years, and grew up with it.

I feel like my family goes through soap incredibly fast, so I'm always trying to find the best deals and save coupons so we can stock up. Unfortunately, sometimes I don't realize how low our supply is getting and I'm forced to go pick up a few at the retail price to get us by. I was shocked when I went to the grocery store (yes, a grocery store - not a huge discount chain) and found this big pack of Jergens bath soap for incredibly cheap! It wasn't on sale, I didn't have a coupon, and I wasn't buying a huge case of it, but it was about the same price as what I would have gotten on sale and with a coupon, **but it wasn't even on sale!** My only complaint about it is that it tends to dry out your skin in the wintertime (which most soaps do), so you may need to be sure you have some body lotion on hand from time-to-time for the driest parts of your skin (knuckles, elbows, needs, etc). This is a great buy and I highly recommend it to the price-conscious shopper!
