I had wanted something with the multi CD player and I also have many cassette tapes which have many of my favorites on them. Very hard to find any kind of tape players so I was thrilled with this. I have it in my room and use it every day. The sound is really fantastic for this type of player. I do not use the turntable because we have a turntable in our main living room which my husband uses for his records. I am happy with the ease of use as well since it is very easy to set it for what I want to listen to at any given time.
