Many, many, many years ago, I purchased a lifetime membership that I don't use now. During the time I could afford the packaged foods and do the additional marketing for foods on my daily menus, I lost 55 pounds. Wow! was I excited until I had a financial upset and had to prioritized my spending. As I no longer could afford to purchase the packaged foods, there went my weight. Up! Up! Up! Of course, the counselors are only interested in making money and not the person, they were no longer interested in me since I could not buy their products anymore. Well, it has been several years later, and I still have a membership and I could return to the program since I am doing a little better financially. However, I pulled out my old program and decided to follow the plans on my own. I have lost 57 pounds in the last few months, but it's not as easy as the plan with the packaged foods. The foods are tastey (not your grandmother's home cokking), but there's just not enough in the package to sustain a mouse. No wonder you lose weight on the plan, there's not enough food to gain weight. Also, realistically, who has time to eat 6 small portions each day? Not if you are fully employed, in school, have a family (who looks at your plate and start laughing). If you're already slim and trim, then I suggest you try Jenny Craig, because you'll certainly stay that way!!!!
